LLLT is like anything , you need to try it out to know if it works for you

I’ve been using it for over 2 years and have maintained

LLLT alone is not likely going to be enough, which is why I use Zix
Can’t advise of oral form , if it hasn’t worked orally than it’s worth looking at the topical solution

Ingredients are in the alternative section
Makes sense will need to look into it. I think I just need something to block the DHT, im afraid to go on finasteride though honestly because of shedding and side effects. It's thick but the mini hairs at the front are def there

One thing is certain, if you hop on finasteride you will be set for life. May never even need minoxidil
Do you suggest I hop on? Or do you think I can maintain a good head of hair without it? You seemed more optimistic than others

Not sure if in my head or not but widow's peak looks like the hair might be thinner? God knows

It’s hard to be sure how time will change things. You could now, but you could also just keep an eye on it until you are completely sure. Trust me. You’re already way ahead of the game by being aware and monitoring. So I would try to just relax no matter what, the stress isn’t worth it. Either take the pill or wait until you really feel like you need to.

Feel that. It's hard to decide, because it's a hormone changing pill. I wish biotin or something like that did the job lol. Still looks pretty full when not fully exposing the hairline. Just hard when I look and see what look like thinned out corners, I have always loved my hair and prided myself on having good hair so kind of a bug out lol

Just take finasteride and have God level hair
Hahaha wow. I would say that's crazy but when I know a very reputable hair derm already willing to prescribe it to me it doesn't sound so crazy. Just scared of side effects but it's very tempting. Gonna talk to my primary care dr about it maybe

I understand your caution. But very good chance that if you even did have sides, they would likely go away after stopping.

I say try it for 3-4 months and assess. That’s long enough to know it’s not a placebo effect and long enough to see any hair benefits.

Hello All,

I am 20 years old and for my entire life, I have always had a great head of hair. Recently however I have noticed the widow's peak I have always had has become slightly more pronounced, and that my temples seem to sit slightly further back than I remember them being. Please let me know if I am just being overly paranoid, if this is a "mature hairline", or if I am observing some kind of male pattern baldness recession. Please be honest and if you aren't sure, please dont rush to a rash conclusion. Want as solid advice as I can get before going to a doctor. Thank you all so much.

PS: The two profile shots of my right temple are a year apart. This is the area im most worried about, does it look like recession/male pattern baldness??
You look like John F Kennedys love child

Get on finasteride. I got on it at the stage you're at now and I have maintained for 15 months. My hair looked like it was getting worse for the first few months but my hair looks thicker now than it did before taking it.

Do you mind sharing photos of your results?
