Everyone on this forum has the "skillset". This is about following a recipe and being a cook. Hell, didn't Jesse from breaking bad learn to make that blue stuff without having any knowledge of chemistry :hairy:? Off course he did. After all he followed the recipe by Walter (the chef) and eventually mastered it himself. This is completely within the spectrum of reality for almost every single person.

So if you want to start cooking this lotion you need to acquire the recipe first. Well Brotzu already provides you the recipe, actually his patent does;

Well and look how easy this recipe is! You can get all of these ingredients fairly easy. The hardest part about the recipe for most would be probably to obtain a sonicator. But guess what most labs/universities carry that so if you give them a call they will help you if come up with a good reason. You can also buy one but they are a bit expensive. Voila you got your lotion.

The real question to you Swoop, is do you think this solution will be beneficial for hair loss/regrowth at all?

The sonicators do look expensive, wouldnt it be possible to mix up the concoction with a regular centrifuge?

Is there anyone in here that has the knowledge and volunteers to mix a big batch and distribute it to us? We can all prepay and make sure it covers the rent of a sonicator or whatever needed.

centrifugation is not going to mix anything, it will just separate the components based on density. sonication uses sound frequency, usually for cell lysis and separating components of cells.

This was his comment when asked in another thread:

"Sadly I think it's highly likely that the androgen/AR angle , estradiol and minoxidil is pretty much as good as it will get for the coming years and there will be no "compound" whatsoever that will beat that. Androgenetic Alopecia seems to reflect a irreversible state anyway at a certain timepoint. In this situation, when damage is too severe, only the creation of new hair follicles will do.

The Brotzu lotion will do something seeing the biological activity of these compounds in that topical, but it certainly won't be better than today treatments.

Regenerative therapy and gene therapy is where I'm looking at Pray. Tsuji being our biggest hope, no doubt."

could you use a homogenizer? Still expensive, but less no? IDK, I have been out of this stuff too long.

And for those wanting to at least maintain, it doesn't need to be. It just needs to be safe and about as effective. The lack of a safe maintenance treatment is the reason we even have a problem to begin with.
The more hair loss we manage to prevent now the less potent an eventual regrowth treatment will need to be to fix our situation completely.

Why don't we ask Desmond to help us out with creating this lotion. We already know he has the chemistry knowledge. Maybe he can write us a brief protocol on the steps to follow to make this.

What is the most important ingredient? I'm going to buy a gallon of it and pour it on my head.

Has the Italian team actually found a distributor? Are there concrete plans for commercialising it in the near future? "It'll be on the market within 12 months" is a little to vague for my taste. I guess I've heard the phrase "this treatment is coming in 5 years" once too often.

Updates

Somebody please give us updates! If this is a cure, why is this not anywhere else? None of the other forums seem to be discussing this. Is this more vaporcrap?

There isn't any. It is stated that:
"The extraordinary effects that are displayed by the compositions of the present invention are then due to synergies between single components, promoted by the characteristics of the liposome suspensions used."

The lotion is made of:
Phosphatidylcholine (Lipid S75 Humangrade) 1 g
DGLA 1.25 mg
S-Equol 7 mg
Ethanol 1 ml
L-propionylcarnitine 7 mg
Stearylamine 30 mg
Sterile water 5 ml

Maybe not the cure but I'm pretty sure this is an effective treatment. I can't wait to try it.

From italy

Hello guys, I'm from Italy I just would like to let you know that on the Italian hairloss forum a guy called Dr. Brotzu and he confirmed to him that this lotion works 100% for Androgenetic Alopecia and we should email and contact FIDIA to make them commercialize it faster.

@tdheh: please give me some source! Anche via MP...

However in this brevetto:
https://www.google.com/patents/WO2015170247A1?cl=en

There is also written:
"
The invention is now better decsribed by the following examples, which have merely demonstrative purposes.
Example 1: preparation of a liposome mixture in the form of a lotion comprising 1% stearylamine (method A)
Phosphatidylcholine (Lipid S75 Humangrade) 1 g
DGLA 1.25 mg
S-Equol 7 mg
Ethanol 1 ml
L-propionylcarnitine 7 mg
Stearylamine 10 mg
Sterile water 5 ml
DGLA, S-equol and stearylamine are dissolved in the dose of ethanol and phosphatidylcholine is added to the solution. Propionylcarnitine is dissolved in 5 ml of water and the thus obtained solution is added to the previous one. The resulting mixture is placed in a sonicator (Sonipress 150 kw) and submitted to 25 sonication cycles. Each cycle is composed of 5 seconds of full power sonication alternating with 2 seconds of rest. The lotion thus obtained is divided into 5 vials and each one is brought to the volume of 7 ml with additional sterile water. The lotion thus obtained is ready for use.
"

So, is that recipe only an example?

Realistically, we should expect no news on this until they release their trial results.
