Alex, your temples don't recede to the level at the beginning of your sideburns. That is what still makes you a NW1. Why won't you trust us. We are telling you the truth. By the way you really do look kind of like Colin Farrell. Answer me honestly, do you spend an abnormal amount of time checking yourself and your hair out in the mirror. Be honest?

That is a relieve btw, so a M (widows peak) is not what makes you a NW1?

Below is a couple of pics of my side, so when that is straight it is NW1? thing is for me anyway it all depends on the cut, when my hair is long, it is straight...Sorry to hijack thread

the widows peak means nothing, its just an inherited trait, some people have them and some dont, like an innie or outie belly button

So how do you know if you are a NW1 if it is inherited? Does being an NW1 equate to balding or a mature hairline?...like you probably can just have that for the rest of your life without losing your hair but it receeds due to age. Couple of hollywood celebs have this, Ben Stiller; Andy Garcia; Christian slater; Pierce Brosnan, so its hard to say.

all those guys are not Norwood 1's, maybe garcia, a nw1 isnt baldness....stiller is like s Norwood 2.5 and slater has plugs, your not balding a Norwood 1 is a kids hairline everyone has at some point some people keep it, the hairline itself isnt inherited, its the genes that allow your hair to be dht resistant is what is inherited, your hair is fine, thats all there is to it, a Norwood 1 is not a mature hairline, and is in no way shape or form baldness

Alex, Oknow has his side hair combed forward so it gives the illusion he has no recession. I can do the same with my hair. Actually some guy thought I was wearing a wig because he thought there is no way a guy my age can have no recession. The way I style my hair, I look like as if I have zero hair loss. Alex if you comb your side hairs forward you will have no recession either. Oknow brush your hair all the way back or wet your hair and comb it all back so we can see how much recession you have.

yeah exactly house, i just didnt want to say anything, okno just slick back your hairline fully, exposing your temples and front hairline, you can see shadows on your pics, from your hair, like house said, the hair is combed forward and hiding it, i asked him previously to expose the hairline and he didnt, so, i tried, lol, your a blunt individual, get him to do it

Kerzguy, you always have the option to get about 3-400 fue into the hairline to make it look linear again.

Indeed, it's not implant worthy. However, after 286 post i thought the line bothers you a bit. ;)

Alex has great hair. He does not need any transplants. Oknow, you have to turn your head sideways and put your hair all the way back so I can see how your sideburns line up with your recession. But as you can see Alex he is receding. Until he shows me the photo of him to the side, I would say he looks like a NW1 diffusing to a NW2.

Kaleb, yes, I will admit I get a little juvenile when I post with you younger guys but that still is the little kid in me. Just because I got more years than you does not mean I have to act like some old fart. However, in my own life outside of this "juvenile" hair loss forum, I have never been called immature. This forum lets me re-live some of my days when I was your age and I purposely stoop to a lower level so I can fit in better. My dad still acts immature and he is a really old fart. As far, as acting bitter toward you younger guys, I would say more jealous that you all still have your youth and don't have to deal with the signs of aging. Of course, I am not jealous of the young balding men on here. I feel real bad for them and I just know what its like to have something that you don't like about yourself and let it ruin your life. My acne was my downfall. I am trying to help these people not make the same mistake I made. People always want me to post pictures of my hair. Why so I can get bashed for having hair like you and being almost twice your age. I have made my point that I am lucky to have great hair for this long. I don't want to rub my "blessing" into the faces of those 20 something year old NW3's or worse. I have seen the bashing that goes on here and I am not going to the next victim. Sorry if I hit a nerve with you Kaleb. At least I can admit my faults. As far as scoring points, I could care less what anyone thinks of me on this forum. I already admitted that I think I am kind of "pathetic" wasting so much time on this forum posting. However, I enjoy posters like s.a.f., ali, uncomfortable man, Cassin, Doug Douglass, ClayShaw and even you Kaleb. You guys are all fun to chat with. If I have offended anyone in the past with my immaturity, I would like to apologize to each and every one of you. Alex(Kerzy) I know I like to tease you but you remind me so much of my self its scary. I am trying to "cure" you from being like me. Having BDD is pretty hard to deal with but have managed to deal with it and I have a very successful career. I am hoping at least some of the young posters do not piss away their lives and their careers over their hair. That to me is very sad and if I can help someone, then I feel posting here is not as pathetic as I thought. By the way, and this is true, I saved some guy's life today. He is very greatful and wow that was a great feeling I had today.

Maybe immature is a bit harsh a word but saying that a 23yr old has bad wrinkles from a photo where hes obv pulling an expression is a bit of silly comment. but hey who cares right?? im all for constructive criticism. I also like the banter of a bit of winding up.

Sometimes i feel balding mans biggest enemy is the balding man. Im not directing this at you but some people on here are quick to say to some guy..'hey your hairs sh*t'. The forum has as many issues in itself than it helps to solve i think.

theres different types of guys not naming any names..

People who post nearly exclusively for reaction - IBM, GHG
The downers - Uman, dudemon
Deluded and annoying - IBM...IBM..AND...IBM
Real talkers - Petchsky..house..barcafan.saf
Silly but likeable - CCS.. kerzy
