Wouldn't work. I have the all over diffuse, and unless I undercoat scalp with dermmatch, you would see a ton of scalp. So I would say it's more of a receding hairline than a diffuse helper. Most diffuse with product stick too much hair together and makes your hair look even thinner. I'm yet to see a product, like a thickening shampoo or a thickening mousse/gel/wax/volume spray that really works, and boy have I tried a load. They are for people who naturally have thin hair but not loss, if you see what I mean.... You have to be lucky I'd say. I've never noticed a thickening shampoo do any different a job to a normal shampoo if I'm honest?

I think the case here is that while the products and routine in this video can help those in the early stages of hair loss and/or those with naturally thin hair but once hair loss becomes more advanced concealers like Toppik, Caboki, Dermmatch, etc. would be the better choices.

For thinning hair, I’d focus on lightweight texture and flexible hold rather than the strongest product you can find. Heavy clays can make strands clump together and leave the scalp more visible, especially with wavy or curly hair. Applying a small amount to dry hair and working it through with your fingers can help create a fuller look without losing too much movement. Shaar has a clay pomade with a matte finish and flexible hold that may be worth comparing with what you’ve tried. I’d start with a tiny amount and see how it feels before adding more. A product that lets you reshape your hair during the day sounds much closer to what you’re after than a stiff fiber.

Have you tried American Crew Fiber hold paste? Or their boost powder? It can add artificial thickness depending on how you style your hair. You may need to work with it for a few minutes to see.
