No. Not at all. I was in much better shape with ZERO medication or supplements before this started. The Urologist compared blood tests and semen test before and after Finasteride. He out me on HCG because Propecia had destroyed my LH and FSH. I’m trying to retain fertility. I stopped it right around the time of that photo and my hair quickly got FUCKED.

complete loss of libido, depression, suicidal thoughts ha, destroyed my sperm count in just a few months. Was on topical Finasteride for over a year before trying oral again.
Thats unlucky to say the least, but sexual side effects are on par for the course beyond a certain age i guess.

Sounds really unusual

This was from October. I was using HCG low dose at the time because of Propecia sides. I have none of this hair left.

f*** ok it’s far from the same. I’m it’s about what it looks like. It is rate of decline from ideal baseline with no answers and zero response to treatment

Buddy, I just don't get it why you don't visit a specialist about autoimmune disorders or a professional endocrinologist/ nuclear medicine.

Stop male pattern baldness treatment, drop them all and let your body recover and clear your hormonal imbalance.

I started back with Propecia and I use an insane amount of RU daily. Nothing is slowing the shed. I have topical steroids too. My temples have thinning out entirely there is no more NE1 it’s a diffuse as f*** mess.
Why did you start finasteride again if it’s causing such terrible sides?

I had been moderately ok on Topical in terms of sides but still shedding a lot and losing ground. Thought I could tolerate it. Labs confirmed. I did film panels as well as a sperm reserve before starting topical Finasteride. Either way labs don’t lie and I’m worried I did permanent damage.

You won't know until you stop all your medications. However, I know you enough by now that you won't. Your type A personality and BDD won't let you. I saw a guy the other day who was in his 50's and he had way better hair than you do. And only a few gray hairs. When you are in the room with a person with way better hair than yourself and he is even older than you, it feels like you got dealt a really bad hand.

Can you imagine how most of the guys in this forum feel when they read this thread? Ironically, you actually have triggered some who have BDD like yourself who actually understand what you are experiencing so it's does trigger some sympathy and support from those type of people.

Fortunately for you this thread is still going strong regardless of you showing any significant hair loss since 2017( the first post in this thread). This thread has definitely attracted some sympathizers and haters.

It's obvious to me that the fact that you have become suicidal over a situation that the majority of the world would not even notice means you are diverting all your financial resources into the wrong type of doctors. What you need is a doctor who specializes in mental health with an expertise in BDD. Of course, he would tell you to shave your head and face your problem "head on". Pun intended.

I do believe your body is going thru some changes but it's only because you are now in your 40's. Most likely these aging processes still would have taken place even if you never used any medical treatments. Unfortunately you will never know now if that is true as you continue to throw the kitchen sink of medications with absolutely no long term constancy into your treatment plan.

You are definitely in better shape than most guys your age and some may say even half your age. However, your mental state is only going to get worse as you age unless you learn how to accept that you can't look the same forever. Not even Brad Pitt or Rob Lowe look as good as they did 10 years or even 20 years ago. Like you, they have the financial resources to fight aging as much as you can. However, sooner or later you will have to face the fact that you can't get back what you lost until we have much better advances in medication and science.

My advice at this point is focus on your mental health first, then focus on what is truly bothering you in your life besides your hair. I do have some idea of what it is but I rather you reach that conclusion on your own.

I was waiting how long it would take for you to passive aggressively attack me. Not long at all. You obviously ran out of people to attack on Fred's forum. I was hoping you had me on ignore all these years.

I have tried dropping everything. I dropped all but topical Dutasteride 1X week from late September through January. I lost a ton of hair. I know I’m very lucky. But the sheer speed given the baseline is the issue. I’m not looking to stop aging, I believe something else is going on beyond aging that triggered this. Starting thyroid medication followed by this constant shedding in one idea. If someone actually looks at the net loss from where I started not the fact yes I still have decent hair.

the tread is important because unlike most people none of the tested hairloss medications have helped at all, in some cases have made things far worse.

So you are telling me you don't think it's possible for anyone in their 40's to start losing their hair suddenly and it's not due to genetics. I could say the exact same thing as you. As soon as I started synthroid my hair got worse. Yet I know it's not that as my endo said it won't cause hair loss unless your thyroid levels are no longer normal.

How much more hair did you lose when you dropped all but topical dutasteride? Sounds like you shed about the same amount of hair for the past few years. Yet, you have no evidence of diffuse thinning unless your hair is wet with sweat or oils. Dry, it looks perfect.

LOL, I guess some people will never change. I never pretended anything. I have shown my photos to Wolf Pack. I know you trust him so ask him. Secondly, unlike you, I can care less if anyone likes me or not. I didn't join this forum with the intention of getting people to like me. Unfortunately, it was infiltrated with bitter people like you who had some kind of vendetta against anyone who has minor hair loss. On top of that you felt the need to abuse the system by giving dislikes to everyone. You even would do it on Fred's forum and he called you out on it. I am glad you are loved by all the members of Fred's forum. They are fine people. And yet on here, you love mocking all the guys with BDD. You obviously have more issues than I do. I don't look to tear down these people like you do. So if you want to talk about projection, look in the mirror. And for my sake and yours, please put me on ignore.

Not sure if your trolling, but he probably does have an autoimmune disease. He needs to take meds like Otezla or Tofacitinib to try and stop it
Yes. He needs Otezla. Their commercials for Pysariasis wake me up at 3am sometimes. He probably needs that, random crazy Internet forum nutjob
