Are oral anti androgens like spironolactone a last resort for guys who don’t stabilise on dutasteride/min/RU? ‘Cause that’s me right now, and I don’t know what to do anymore.
the old guards of the forum seem to have swore on topical spironolactone but spironolactone is pretty bad for your health. bicalutamide is considered a better bet but i don't know if anyone here has tried it without estradiol as a base. Are oral anti androgens like spironolactone a last resort for guys who don’t stabilise on dutasteride/min/RU? ‘Cause that’s me right now, and I don’t know what to do anymore.
Fibrosis and calcification on scalp needs to be taken care of. Good diet, lots of exercise, avoiding alcohol/smoking and avoiding foods/snacks/sugar that trigger internal inflammation. Or just get on HRT lmao. Are oral anti androgens like spironolactone a last resort for guys who don’t stabilise on dutasteride/min/RU? ‘Cause that’s me right now, and I don’t know what to do anymore.
No, if you didnt respond to DUTA/min/RU dont expect to be responder on HRT, your odds are LOW.Are oral anti androgens like spironolactone a last resort for guys who don’t stabilise on dutasteride/min/RU? ‘Cause that’s me right now, and I don’t know what to do anymore.
I do respond to these treatments. I have regrowth on my temples from the RU and OM, my problem is my hair hasn’t stabilised from finasteride or dutasteride. I know I’m a responder to finasteride/dutasteride because otherwise I’d be slick bald right now if I never started them. No, if you didnt respond to DUTA/min/RU dont expect to be responder on HRT, your odds are LOW.
