As I understand it, you are in maintenance today with dutasteride.

How do you say your feelings are today? in relation to you, your life, and your result?

What would you say about Progesterone's inhibitory effect on aromatase?

I know a little about the mechanism of action of progesterone in the body, do you think it helps?
I think that sometimes it is contradictory and you can’t know because normally progesterone treatment is complete MTF, I think a complete treatment would work.

Progesterone + Estrogen + AA.

But that would be a complete MTF treatment

It's worth a consideration, for those who need to keep taking anti androgens for life to maintain.

from my knowledge it needs to pass the liver/digestive system to make it work, ie. Spironolactone.

Bicalutamide has no known active metabolites, and is reportedly effective effective as a topical anti androgen. Can hard pills such as casodex pills break down when used as a suppository? I can't seem to find any info. Dutasteride should work though, it's a soft capsule, with two less potent active metabolites. It's also effective as a scalp hair loss topical, but with it's large molecular size may have difficulty absorbing through the rectum. But like you said, this is all speculation. I'll give i a try and update the thread if it seems to work.

If I want to temporarily switch to HRT mode, I will try Bicalutamide 75mg + 1.5mg E (2 pump presses) from Estrogel. I wonder what hormone levels can be achieved with this regimen, and how it will help hair.

I’ve seen many threads on female pattern hairloss websites where women used 50mg Bicalutamide and got all their hair back. So as long as you have E2 you’re good.

Yeah, that ship done sailed. Reductions might still work. I have either proven that breast growth is manipulable or I am one in a thousand cause my breasts keep getting bigger and rounder as I attempt to emulate the hormonal profile of a pregnant female. It's worked great hair-wise and well, in the words of @bridgeburn, who doesn't like a nice pair of tits....

My E is pretty high when comparing to my T. T is barebone low and E2 skyhigh, in terms of normal ranges. It is clearly visible when you look at me #femboy. Soon #temboy.

Yes, that's what I talked about earlier. I will remove the minor gynecomastia that I get on Bicalutamide monotherapy. After that I will be able to do whatever I want and not be afraid of breast growth.

aromatase is an enzyme encoded by the CYP19A1 gene, enzymes can be increased and decreased, high prolactin will decrease the levels of aromatase enzymes in your body.

Don't females have high prolactin during pregnancy though, which is a time of primo hair growth for XX's.
