wounds and adrenaline and density of the graft help at the re-vascularisation of the area.
Could be possible but seems to be far fetched conclusion. It doesn't explain why transplanted hairs remain firm for life,it would be logical that DHT start fibrosis again after transplantation but no study confirm miniaturisation of transplanted hairs.

You did not read the links. The doctors said that it could be that hairs was taken from non safe zone so they fail. Read the article before posting.

Easy thing to blame the surgeons who did the transplant. 3500+ grafts out of the safe zone ? I thought you were balding when you were doing a transplant, where do all these hairs come from ? There's not such a thing as "safe zone". The botx studies demonstrate it, other study have also shown that environnement was the main culprut and not the follicule.
In the links i've posted there's also a surgeon who admits having rare cases like that.
Read + think before posting ! ;)

I would love to experiment with this but I'm afraid of the chance of it making my hair worse. If you get adverse effects from using a topical all you would have to do is discontinue using the topical. But what would happen if you had an adverse effect with a botox injection? Doesn't that stuff stay in your system for months?

Botox in scalp. Well doctors won’t do it.
It’s not FDA approved. Idea relaxing scalp allows more blood flow possibly. Also putting toxins in scalp needs to be considered.
I suppose if you took 10 balding men & injected applesauce in their scalps some would grow hair.
If one could obtain Botox it’s possible to inject one’s self.

But what is the difference in putting it in the scalp vs the forehead, let’s say. Really no difference. Both house your main circuitry, so proximity shouldn’t be an issue. The difference to to me is negligible. In fact, in the forehead, if your lose expression and don’t like the results, it’s out there for the world to see until it wears off. In the scalp, you can’t tell the difference.

Hi Koupka,

This is exactly what is happening to me, I got a hair transplant back in Feb 2013, 3000 grafts on the first third of the scalp.
Got very happy with this transplant, got a huge growth rate on the transplanted grafts, and very happy with the cosmetic improvement, until a few month ago... So it's been 5 to 6 years I had this transplant, and back in October 2018 I start to notice thinning of my hairs. And today I can see that almost the entire transplanted hair are thinning and falling…. :( The bad trip is back….

Have some of you experience the same ? Any advise ? May be Fibrosis took this time to come back in the picture...
How can I get rid of this fu...ing fibrosis ?

ciao

If

If it would have been fibrosis and calcification the anti fibrotic medications would have been mainstream drug in treating MPA

I agree and this is weird in the sens of, if you look at the Hair loss Flowchart (which I think is kind of a reference), Fibrosis and Calcification are the 2 pillars of hairloss....

Sorry, this is not a Botox related comment, may be we can create a new thread for that...
