Yeah most likely it will never happen (become a fullhead via just surgery) but with good donor and strategic placement of grafts with a specialist surgeon, it may be possible to grow it out and have a trendy cut. That does go a long way and can put the guy on a level playing field. Of course if the donor is too diffuse you can't do fades or having to resort to combovers, all this matters and then the transplant is a bit pointless. There are advantages and disadvantages to it all but even if the donor is diffuse and the top is too thin after surgery, you can shave it and maintain a buzzcut. Still, relatively nice for girls and a confidence boost to self. If someone can pull off the bald look very well they should leave it as it is or opt for the buzzcut look following surgery if they really crave it.

@justinbieberscombover had medium hair calibre and was a Norwood 5, he showed me close ups, sure it was thin but uniform, symmetrical throughout and really well slicked to the side. All this makes a world of difference.

Check out mattdominance, he has a mature hairline but look how thin his hair overall is after 3 transplants I think, he didn't take finasteride and took his hair apart for the camera. Sure it's far from full but do you think he would look better with a combover/bald head/asymmetry on top? His donor has taken a beating but is not too bad. Take out the beard, muscles and hair fade too where does it leave him? It all makes a huge difference. He may be totally unattractive without all that.

He looks way better than he did before. Sure the hair behind the front is thin, but in the grand scheme of things he just looks like a normal young dude!

Luckily I think I will look pretty good with a buzzcut after the transplant.. we will have a better idea in approx 4 weeks. :) If I totally love it and get compliments for it, maybe I will just make it my permanent look and move on with life. If not, I can always grow it back to the fade style, I got nothing to lose.

How old are you? Just out of curiosity.

late twenties, not looking to grow old and wise any time soon but I’ve been through this stuff with hair and I felt like participating in this forum for now. Call it corona virus lockdown boredom. I even started to paint.

On topic of Nick Shell, I am impressed by his styling techniques, his hair looks pretty full when he has it styled properly, even though he is thinning quite significantly:

Meet John Cazale. Extremely talented and loved, in your perspective cursed though. He didn’t register to hairlosstalk or cry to god, instead he didn’t do much tbh. He just married Marryl Str at her best years and played in a bunch of 10/10 movies. Died at 42 sadly.

The only reason you’re here is because you’re all a bunch of incels in denial. You want the entire world to change for you but you won’t change instead. Most of you aren’t even bald. You have hair. Some of you even mention ending your life over it. See a psychiatrist, it’s not too late.

Society was very different even as far as 30 years ago, stop trying to tell men of the present generations to hold themselves to a standard not expected of them presently. Your hatred of men in this situation and men in general is so apparent I can only feel validated in making the assumption you were out to sabotage these people.

"Get over it, evolutionary loser, but look at these people who posed utility to society, go be like them, slave".

Nobody should listen to you.

Modern society does not care for those men through post-modern feminist eyes they are viewed as laboring drones, nothing more.

The only way to "win" against this system is to literally beat it on its terms, period. You're f*****g disgusting. It's a known fact that you're at a fundamental disadvantage if your looks suffer greatly in the context of a relationship because women cannot help themselves in judging people by appearance. Thus your solution is to "accept their lot" as you contemptuously put it and subject yourself to judgement of somebody who is incapable of honorable or objective discernment, this isn't hate, epigenetically women have not been subject to the evolutionary pressures of having to be honorable and answer for the consequences of their actions. Historically women have been protected from these things in exchange for their obedience, on an evolutionary level they're not capable of it.

Since this f*****g retard doesn't seem to understand, I'll put it to them easy, WOMEN DON'T WANT TO BE IN CONTROL, and the ones who do are f*****g evil. Women secretly know when their whims are subject to action in society, their lives and their world around them gets worse even if there is a short term benefit which is why most feminist women act in perpetual fear that men are going to collectively say "enough" and put a stop to the direction society is going as if THEY are the evil ones. I can't begin to tell you how many times I've heard women say they do and say and practice thinking which they know sabotages their life and their happiness but they keep doing it. And every time the absolute worst offenders of this have fucked up lives and vilify men in spite of knowing how they sabotage themselves.

Appearance in a man sparks something deep within the primitive mind of a female that compels them to submission, you're f*****g delusional if you think you can trust an attractive woman to be honorable to a man that does not live up to her sense of where she places in this world.

Look good, defy the prevalent narrative, bend this world to your will. Appearance is a non-negotiable, you'll be overlooked and left behind if you cannot overcome this. Nobody who wants hair wants the world to cater to them, they want their hair back so they have a fighting chance, you're literally the one who wants men to cater to this world on uneven ground.

Society hasn’t changed one bit. Crybabies with a bit of hair loss existed forever. My goal is to save as many as possible from this ridiculous obsession. Cazale claps you, me and everyone else here, with his charisma in life. Tapped Merryl at her golden years and god knows how many more women and he was respected. If he instead registered here and choked on finasteride pills, he wouldn’t be the same would he?

Not of a fan of the terminology and expletives but overall this is true. John Cazale knew what he was worth. Something people need to learn on here.

Nothing to be impressed by. The difference between thin wet hair and thin dry hair is just huge.

He's probably the most jittery person I've ever seen. Why does he keep raising his left eyebrow while he talks throughout 90% of the videos. And getting too close with his face to the camera which highlights his wrinkly forehead, and showing his balding from up close, constantly pointing at it and putting both of his hands above his head like it's some miracle of nature. So offputting and cringey, f*****g weirdo.

True, but when he has it styled well it doesn't look like he's thinning at all, when judging from that video you would think that there would be some signs of it.

He's 39, though he has actually been losing hair since his teens.

I'm 19 and my hairline is similar to his (arguably a bit worse, at least it looks that way from some angles and distances), though I have more thickness overall.

He seems to just have slow hair loss, his father had the same pattern, though he is basically bald now in his 60s.

I wonder why he's not on finasteride or something
He is against fighting hair loss and says he will just shave it bro when he reaches NW4 or so.

I do wonder how he will truly feel when he reaches that point.
