@Norwoody I’m around at 2.5 Hard to tell from that angle. But same I will be the happiest person on the planet want to get a hair transplant. Right now I cover up my Temples well with my longer hair. A lot of people don’t know they extent of my receding hairlin or have any idea I’m balding. I just feel as though it would be embarrassing getting a hair transplant
Same for me too. I think that there's probably a way to do it though. Use all your time off, wear a hat for a while, etc. Relocate if possible.

There has been a little recession at the hairline over the past 3 years. It seems as though most of it came in the first year of finasteride.

over the past two year it’s pretty much maintained.

Wonder if the maintenance is bc of dr hairloss proxi cream @DoctorHouse

or
finasteride/oral min stabilized

these two photos are a couple months short of two years apart. What do you guys thinks

I told you Proxiphen does work. It works well with all your other treatments. You have seen my hair. Obviously, I did well for over 13 years.

This is good for two years. Actually the lighting was a bit dimmer in your earlier photo too, so it looks like it's about the same honestly. Your hair looks very healthy, has a lot of thickness and a good shine to it.

roxiphen ( Prescription Product for Hair Loss Treatment )

  • Proxiphen contains minoxidil, as well as the prescription agents phenytoin and spironolactone ( a potent topically-effective antiandrogen ) SODs, copper peptides, TEMPO, PBN, etc.. Over a dozen active ingredients in all. It grows significantly more hair on more people than any other agent. Because it contains prescription agents, Proxiphen can only be dispensed on a physician's diagnosis of hair loss. Read the special instructions on how to obtain Prescription Proxiphen without coming to Houston. The cost is $100 for a one-month supply

I just use it on my hairline. Crown has maintained without it

100 bucks a month? Ouch! But I can see the spironolactone being a distinct advantage since it does address the issue via a different pathway.

Have you gotten any sides on finasteride? I’m doing finasteride alone as a monotherapy. What’s your doasage and how frequent do you take it?
Have never really had any signs. Maybe for the first month a loss in sex drive but other than that, nothing.

Here is a picture that kind of shows how much I shed. This is from leaning my head over the sink and shaking it back and forth. I don’t touch my hair with comb or hands. I can do this multiple times throughout the day. It’s horrifying how much I shed.

Finasteride and oral min have not maintained my hairline. It continues to creep back. @DoctorHouse convinced me to start derma again. Crown and diffuse thinning up top is the exact same over past three years, but hairline goes back. Just hope it f*****g stops lol.

3 years apart.

The two year difference looks better. The proxi cream may have stopped the recession 2 years ago but I’m still thinking it’s going back.

I would still stay patient and not make many changes for now. But if it becomes aggressive you may need to consider dutasteride. What oral minoxidil dose have you been on, and for how long?
