generic finasteride is so cheap anyway to produce..doesnt make sense to counterfeit it
minoxidil on the other hand I believe can be faked and for good margins
There is a chance it could go wrong..agree that it is risky. Just saying that a good strip surgeon reduces the risks of it happening purely because of his skill (how your body reacts to it is an unknown anyway... FUE can go wrong as well)
Guys who are exploring hair transplant but are scared away by the...
5 months in..my scars can barely be felt when i run my fingers through it..my hairdresser cant notice any difference either.(Trichophytic Closure Technique)
I do maintain my hair long though
Its fairly painful during the first few days..other than that, happy with the procedure.
eating a little less one day and a little more the next hardly makes a difference, the amount of active ingredient remains constant in your body in the long term. Splitting works
FUT! Done the deed. nearly 10th day post surgery now
3000 grafts for just over $5K done by Dr.Pong in Chiang Mai, he has reconstructed the hairline as close to an NW1-2 as he naturally could (was at NW3) - an overall great experience as well as brilliant destination to take a break at.

Give it a year atleast..
I am happy with what finasteride gave me... gave me a slight regrowth on the hairline and stopped my aggressive male pattern baldness dead on its tracks.. visible results took a year
I remember I had a much higher sex drive during the first 3-6 months of finasteride relative to before starting them... it eases out eventually.
Not sure what the medical reason is
Your transplanted hair is immune to DHT.. But DHT will eat away the rest of your hair if you do not have the big2 medication - minoxidil and finasteride.
finasteride+minoxidil in the meantime can help you conserve your existing hair while you contemplate hair transplant..not being on it I guess means you will lose more...
One of my sources: http://www.bernsteinmedical.com/fue-hair-transplant/pros-and-cons-fue/
and how bad is "disfigured" ? ... its a linear scar which can have some work done on it at a later date isn't it ? (atleast thats my plan)
from all the doctors i consulted..FUE seems x2 or 3 more expensive...
NW2-3. Est. 2000 grafts using FUT
Reserved a day with Dr.Pong in Chiang Mai. Opted for FUT as the results are generally better in terms of follicles surviving the transplant and the Doctor has a great rep.
Not too fussed about the donor scar as i have a medium-long hairstyle
Thoughts ?
