Ran Into An Old Friend Who Is Now Bald

I know exactly what you mean. I gave up with Facebook years ago. I hate seeing candid pictures of myself because it almost certainly shows up the hair loss terribly. Any photo of me which I upload as a display picture (to any site) has got to undergo manipulation before I post it. I've used...

Gatis Kandis Is A Youtuber Who Pulls Off/downplays A Nw3.5

He'd be a good candidate for a hair transplant. Only needs to get those temples filled in.

Gatis Kandis Is A Youtuber Who Pulls Off/downplays A Nw3.5

Interesting hair he has. I think it is partly due to him having naturally a high hairline which has receded a bit (thus making the balding look worse than it actually is), but when done right he has the ability to have a pretty full fringe.

What's Up With Joleon Lescott's Hairline?

Just watching MOTD2 at the moment and Joleon Lescott is one of the pundits. I'm reminded by what a rather peculiar hairline he has. Has anybody seen someone with temples like this before? If I was him I would carefully shape them so he gets the triangular effect.

What Can I Realistically Expec With Finasteride?

It might well do. There is no one-size-fits-all answer because of the complexities involved. Some people are so destined to go completely bald that their bodies will override the effects of finasteride after a number of years on it whereas other people can virtually halt their hair loss for...

Again; Tell Me Why Treatments Are Not Covered By Insurance?

I'm UK-based and I think it's a shame there isn't some sort of discount scheme when buying Regaine and Propecia. Perhaps for people below a certain age. I spend around £420-a-year on hair loss products and I'm fed up of it. If you're a university student and going bald, how the hell are you...

    Hair Transplant Failure: Cesc Fabregas

David Silva's hair transplant doesn't seem to have progressed much. Must be like 7/8 months now but it doesn't look like anything's happening.

Do You Think Justin Bieber Is Balding? (pics)

It's the fluffiness of his hair on top. It just reminds me of mine when I was about 19 — when there were no obvious bald patches, but the hair carried a frizzy appearance after taking a shower and drying my hair. I've seen other people go the same way. Didn't realise it at the time.

Do You Think Justin Bieber Is Balding? (pics)

Here are some new pictures of him. Look how much thicker the hair is on the back of his head than on top. The contrast is developing.

Do You Think Justin Bieber Is Balding? (pics)

Because so many factors influence the visual perception of one's hair. The haircut, the lighting, the camera angle, the amount of sweat and when the person last washed their hair. You name it, it affects how their hair looks in photos.

Do You Think Justin Bieber Is Balding? (pics)

Us hair loss folk are excellent at detecting baldness at the earliest possible point. :D

    Shallow Judgemental People Over Baldness.

Yes, because their own market value has declined. Are 30+ women really more desirable than the 18–24 bracket?

Do You Think Justin Bieber Is Balding? (pics)

Very true. Hair plays such a massive part in one's appearance and how they are perceived. Bieber is starting to bald. The colour and texture of his hair looks different. The hairline is at a point at the moment where he has to put in that little extra effort to cover over that temple area. I...

Chubby Chasing And Being Bald (and Fit)??

I've never understood the obsession with a woman's weight. Unless she's ginormous beyond the nth degree, a bit of extra fat doesn't really alter the fact that she's pretty or not. The media should stop their obsession with women's weight and instead focus on ridiculing balding/bald men. Make...

Is Alopecia Better Than Pattern Baldness ?

Neither is desirable. However, I can imagine that due to the short-term nature of alopecia (the process of your hair being wiped out) and how apparent it is, it differs to the much more drawn out process of male pattern baldness. I don't have alopecia — well, actually I do: androgenic alopecia...
