It was definitely the drug. It had gotten bad 8months in, but light pain since I started. Had ultrasounds and tests and the Doctor marked it as a side effect of propecia as his thought of cause. Also it went away completely 2 weeks after my last pill. Which is how long it takes for DHT to return to...
That’s just male pattern baldness for you, unpredictable.
I’ve had a NW2 since 21, I’m 32now and I’m NW2.5,my brother was NW2 at 20 and is NW6 at 25, luck of the draw and nobody knows why.
I will add that I have had chest pains before on liquid when i use too much, never had that on the foam regardless how much I used, so for me it definitely penetrates better.
I used foam for 11 months with little or no results, been using liquid a year with moderate noticeable results.
Liquid penetrates better, makes sense it works better, but it’s messier.
In my experience when I took the drug my penis was smaller in the sense that it seemed to be in a super flaccid state very often, but it didn't actually shrink per say.
For the record I did recover from the sexual sides, just took nearly a year. Some people just can't tolerate finasteride long term, I'm one of them. Seems to me you are too sadly.
Yes, this was the sign that lead to year long sexual sides even after quitting. It only gets worse, I ended up in the ER they diagnosed me with finasteride induced epididimytis.
Honestly it's a sign that it's time to get off.
Mine showed up about 6 months in.
I tried antibiotics and...
Placebo affect. Finasteride does absolutely nothing to your hair in a week due to its short half life. MAYBE if you were talking dutasteride vs avodart but even then... a week? Nah.
My advice would be try finasteride, if you get sides get off. If you get bad sides get off asap, don't ride it out as the study warns.
I ignore sides for too long my last try on the drug. Prior to that time I healed quickly. It's when you ride sides out that you get issues.
Persistent sides are as stated in the study around 1.4%.
I got sides but have several friends who had mild or none.
This drug can be harmful but let's not pretend a whopping 60% get long lasting sides, have to agree with joey here.
I understand it was tongue in check, it just sets a dangerous precedent to make some guys feel pressured to tolerate the sides which could be dangerous.
