Ok, thanks for the advice. I think as long as I have the capsules, I'll just use the liquid in a water base and when i run out I'll use the tablets.

I agree with major. Your insides are all out of whack due to a poor diet. You may see some relief from finasteride but it will likely be temporary. Cut out sugar and all high glycemic carbs and you'll lose weight, be MUCH healthier and save your hair.

Would you be happy with keeping the hair you have now with little to no-regrowth? If so, then you could try upping the finasteride dosage (as some have done), start dutasteride, fluridil. If not, do the transplant. What would make you happier, a transplant with having to pay down a loan that will strain you...

What you've got is just a more severe case of male pattern baldness so, yes, it will work probably just as well as anywhere else on your scalp.
