I'm giving finasteride a try. Too scared to go on minoxidil at the moment since I've read far too many stories of people of people shedding hair that didn't come back.
If finasteride and/or minoxidil don't do much, that other stuff would probably do less. Like I said, my donor area is unstable, and my balding is...
I have a large area of balding for my age and..
According to this forum, studies, and doctors:
1) Meds don't work well enough to produce a significant difference for most people, if at all. And they also may give you horrific side effects at any point in the future, and could continue after...
Even after using 2% keto every other day for the past two weeks, I've had better results from just ONE day of Neutrogena's T/SAL (salicylic acid) shampoo. What gives? I'm leaving it on twice for 5 minutes each.
What proof have you? LLLT is recognized in medical literature and by the vast majority of doctors as effective. 2% keto shampoo is proven to increase hair diameter. Their is a study of 2% keto cream with photos comparable to minoxidil results if not better.
Lol. I haven't taken minoxidil long enough to notice any benefit. Concealer is working for me, so I'm a little less desperate for quicker results that minoxidil could give, and wouldn't want my hair to get worse from it either. I guess I'm leaning toward waiting on finasteride for a few months since...

As hard is it may be to believe, a low density hairpiece is still quite a bit of hair, a full head of hair by anyone standards. Google "extra light hair system". I wouldn't go anything over extra light though, not light, extra light. But if your transplanting the hairline for this, it's best the...
I find I have to scratch and claw for 10 - 15 minutes to get it all out, then I shampoo. Will shampooing first get all/most of it out easier? What do you guys do and how long does it take?
This is what I'm looking at:
Wake up
Wash off minoxidil liquid from last night (10 mins)
Apply concealer (5 - 10 mins)
Come home
Wash off concealer (15 - 20 mins) - Biggest problem, I have scratch and claw all that sh*t out
Apply minoxidil liquid (5 mins)
It could take longer, but my guess is...
