New to minoxidil need some advice about usage

Well I'm at the stage where I'm seriously contemplating adding minoxidil to my regimen. I've been losing my hair very slowly for 10 years and as such it is very hard to tell if finasteride is doing it job. My problem is that it sounds like a lot of work, I'm not lazy about my hair but for me to...

    ketoconazole/nizoral cream

just a thought but I've read that you shouldn't use nizoral more than three times a week, perhaps a persistent cream could be bad news for the same reason...

    Shedding 1 year in

ello I seem to be going through another shed after taking finasteride for a year. I've recently started taking zinc supplements, I have an auto-immune disease and a low sperm count and I believe zinc is associated with a healthy immune system and good sperm production as well as maintaining hair so...

Shampoo that I could use between Nizoral

I used to use Jason Thin to Thick just before nizoral. All natural ingredients plus it contains salicylic acid so good at getting rid of dead skin. Would make my hair feel thicker for a while after too.

    FREEDOM!!!! QUITTING FINASTERIDE AND MINOXIDIL

3 weeks = poor show IMO pretty sure I've heard the sides often wear off within 4-5 months, 3 weeks is just not long enough, should be six months to be sure. Never the less it is your choice and I hope it works out for you.

    Crushing Proscar Pills

also worth considering that the active ingredient potentially may have some reaction to the atmosphere and crushing them will dramatically increase the rate of this reaction (if any)

    having children on finasteride

Am I the only one here that has heard finasteride is present in sperm and can cause deformaties in a male foetus?? I thought this was accepted as fact, and one of the first questions I was asking myself when starting the stuff was how long do I need to be off the stuff before I can have kids. If...

    Weaker side playing catch-up

ello I am right handed, and I'm finding that the more I work out, the greater the difference in strength there is between my left and right side. Does anyone have any tips/techniques to help your weaker side keep up? Cheers 8)

    PLEASE HELP ME!!!

On the one hand this forum is a great place to get support and answers to your questions, but equally on the other hand, its a great place to make yourself paranoid. As back in time said someone is much more likely to post if they're having problems than if everything is going well. At the...

    Secondary finasteride shed

Hiya just a really quick question (I think I already know the answer). I'm 9 and a half months into propecia and believe I have started a secondary shed (around the 9 month mark). Is this the right time for this to be happening? Cheers

Anyone use T-Sal/T-Gel before shampooing with Nizoral?

So my understanding is that T-Gel exfoliates your scalp so using it just before nizoral helps the nizoral to be absorbed into your scalp right? Here in the UK there are two types of T-Gel with Salicylic(?sp) acid, one for dry hair and one for greasy hair. Which of these would be best for me? male pattern baldness...

    Finasteride: Myth or Miracle ??

Truth is someone is much more likely to post if they're not getting the results they'd hope for. On top of this a lot of people seem to lack the patience required for this medication. People seem to think that a hair loss treatment will turn things around after only a few months even though...
