Honestly your hair doesn't look too bad, though there is definite thinning. How much is this costing you if you don't mind me asking, I'm thinking of a routine like this.
No sides from finasteride or dutasteride. My family history doesn't line up with what I have... my brother has no thinning at all, and my dad started balding but in his 40s. My uncles on my dads side do have some balding but that all happened when they were much older than I am.
I made a thread just before I turned 19 years old (I'm almost 20 now) which can be found here:

My routine since then has been Finasteride (1mg ED) for ~9 months and since then I've been on...
So you really prepared him a physical document? That's cute :p. After that he must've realised how much you wanted it.
Anyway, you could also try Loniten, its an oral form of Minoxidil so is said to increase hair (everywhere). There's also some heart risks associated with it so watch out.
I've also just stumbled on a thread about Enzalutamide and Darolutamide that looks interesting, though I don't know much about them. I'll probably end up impulse buying them when I have another breakdown over the condition of my hair
Well my advice on regrowing hairs would be to use topical things like Minoxidil, RU, maybe Topical Estrogen (but I'm not sure on that one). Minoxidil definitely works but it sucks that your dad won't let you take it. It is odd that your dad will allow you to use all these serious pills but won't...
Your hair looks very good, I'm only 1 year older than you and would kill to have hair like yours. Lol.
I tried Bica a while ago and noticed increased hair loss and low libido, because of this (but mainly because of the increased hair loss) I stopped taking it. But in hindsight I probably wasn't...
It'll be very hard to get pics since they are almost invisible, I only notice them in good lighting when they are on a dark surface, but I know when they are there and it annoys me
Hello, I have diffuse thinning all over the top of my scalp. For this reason I feel it is necessary for me to use the Minoxidil liquid all over the top of the scalp. I always use 2ml at night since I hate having that stuff in my hair for the morning (and the rest of the day).
Anyway, I was my...
I'm in your position at the moment, I'm 19. I'm on spironolactone, Finasteride and Minoxidil to try get it back. So when I'm older no matter what my hair is like I'll look back and know I did everything possible..
Hello. I am 19 years old and unlucky, my hair has been thinning rapidly since I was 18.
7 months ago I finally decided to treat it by taking Finasteride (1mg) every day, since 4 months ago I have also been using Minoxidil.
My hair is still in a bad condition and I was expecting more results...
I've been using topical minoxidil for around 2 months, but like others here probably know it is a massive hassle having to apply it each night. It makes my hair feel and look even more awful than it already is. I have been reading about Loniten and I'm prepared for the side effects of it. I will...
Sorry if this question is personal, but how can an increase in body hair be a bad thing? Can't you just shave it if you don't want hair there? Personally I think having more body hair is a small price to pay for having more hair on my head.
