Ok so I've been reading about Toppik, HairSoReal and Dermatch. I am not sure which one to try first for my thin crown area. Also I'm no expert on hair spray as I've never used it, is there a good brand out there that keeps things in place but doesn't make the hair too stiff? Thanks...

I am about 7 months on propecia and I look about the same. I have added minoxidil (dr lee's xandrox) to the mix now. I think if we had been great responders we would see something by now as far as regrowth. So you may consider minoxidil and if I were you I would start ASAP.

Ditto here. I spent less than 5 mins on my 1st visit to the Derm, can't imagine wasting another 5 mins of my time on a rubber stamp office visit.

Consider propecia to stop the hair loss in the first place and nizoral shampoo as well. Study this board for info & keep us posted on your results. Good Luck.

Ah, I'm finally on propecia. Got the prescription today. My Derm first mentioned rogaine and after I looked totally uninterested did she mention propecia. I was surprised she talked about rogaine first it seems it is a second rate med compared to propecia's success. My feeling is Hair Loss...
