wow...7 years since my last post.....thought I would log in and do an update. Still on Propecia.....9 years now. I have been VERY lazy with Rogaine foam.....I almost never use it. I take MSM and Saw Palmetto very infrequently. I've attached the latest pic. This pic makes it look better...

...and I've maintained pretty well. However, after reading JayMan's thread, I've considered switching to Avodart? What do you guys think? Has anyone made the switch after so long on Propecia?

wow....no other comments? also, id like to mention (again) how good the gel i use is...its called goldwell lagoom jam....its $15, and id pay double that, it works so well. it makes my hair look so much thicker.

yeah i dont get all the negative comments either - i didnt even notice anything until people pointed it out...it looks fine to me.

i would agree...finasteride is more than enough. youre lucky to be blessed with thick hair, just a little recession.

thanks man....i was never losing "heaps" of hair...i may be repeating myself from the first page, but since it was diffuse, i never really noticed it at first...i really startd to know it when i was in my CPA review classes during the summer of 05...id run my hands through my hair and 2 or 3...

they will give you the entire set at once. the problem is, that dentist has to see you, because he has to adjust things every few visits. if i were you, id wait until you have a job...you can probably put money pre-tax into a 125 account or a health savings account....i dont have dental...

Re: btp i saw small improvements around month 10...then a shed. the 10 month shed was my last big one....i would comb my hair and lose 10-20 hairs or so. after that though, its been a steady improvement....as recent as early september i was still worried if things were working...i played...
