here are my thoughts on kids and genes;

You cant predict what is going to happen...If someone wants kids they should just have them and not try and produced genetically perfect children as the condition to having them. Especially if you love someone its like wouldnt that be the way you want to have kids? with the person you love and married? Weird conversation they had.

With hair loss at least we are lucky enough and aware enough IF a child started to get this symptoms we would be able to spot it early and address it best that can be...to stay aware of research etc and mentally prepare them if the worst was to happen so they can better deal with it.

I have shitty genes for hair loss--but I would hope my parents would not have skipped having sex that night 9 months before my birth just because i would face hair loss and it would effect me as it is.
I still glad i exist I mean it feels like a burden and i might have to get a weave one day or take risks with my health for medications...but not to ever have existed? i mean I am glad i have existed and done some really amazing things in my life.
Granted I say this KNOWING I had fantastic hair my 20s and my 30s so not comparing situations with anyone else..

That point does not make logical sense to me in what we are discussing.

Men (a lot of them) prefer a woman either their height or smaller because it feels more dominate to have a woman who is smaller then them..they feel it looks better and I know personally it is a sexy feeling when man is taller then me or bigger framed them me...and I think for men it is opposite is true.

So not sure why this is your example you are using.

Also, its not about how you (the parents) feel, about your love and all that. It's about the future child and its happiness

We can broadly expand the morals of choosing or not choosing childrens in general existence BUT I think that is way too broad and gets off the generally based topic of how much genetics looks should play into having a planned for child with your mate.

After what I've read diet only really matters if you're malnourished. Even with the perfect diet it's almost only genetics that determine your height. Perfect diet and sleep through all your years of growing might give you an inch in developed countries.

im shorter than me dad. pisses me off too. i did some weightlifting when i was an early teen (stupid f****r), and ate pretty much dogshit my entire childhood. i always thought that had some connection with me not being that tall. but maybe it was just genes. my mums family are all relatively short/average. my dad and his dad are tall. i fell in the middle somewhere at 5'10/11.

exactly, that's what i find not pure.
a short man is a turnoff for women, but a shot girl is not a turnoff for men.
women mate higher, men mate mostly with their lookmatches.

this shows that what women want from men is protection and ressources (if we're still at the jungle). it's like using him as a tool. a hired gun, a free bodyguard. it's funny even after the invention of martial arts and civilisation they still thing we're still living in the jungle.
we see it in the tournament primates, females share one dominant alpha male ... UNTIL a new alpha takes over the lead, and they will all ditch the loser of the fight and go with the victor (much like human history).

men mate like pair bonding species, they need to get attached to a female (love) in order to get her ressources when she's pregnant.

I'm 6', my dad is 6'4. My genetics fucked me, baldness from dads side of family, skin from mothers, height from mothers, frame from mothers. If I got my dads height, coloring and frame then hair from my mothers side I would never have came to this forum. My uncles and grandparents on mothers side all full heads in their f*****g 70s and 50s..... FUUUUUUCK!!

i would say hes nw4/5 at 60. gradually thinning from around 30 or so. very respectable baldness. his own baldness is a mystery too. his dad and both grandads are all nw1s well into old age. so f*** knows where he got his from

most of my genes come from my mums side. my looks, my height, my skin, my f*****g gay baldness. all from her family
