Ehh post-finasteride syndrome is a contentious topic and is debatable whether or not it's a real thing. Do your research and see if it something you would be willing to risk. I would start on finasteride if I was you, but like I said, I've had no sides.
The thing is ed is 90% mental. I really think that’s all it is. Which can be scary. I’ve researched but I’m just eh. I might shave it to see how if looks but I still can look like this when it’s long and hides the thinning so it makes me wonder if I need

Your an idiot STFU, your telling me that giant thinning/bald spot in the frontal hairline doesn't warrant male pattern baldness? Why not tell him the truth atleast if he hops on treatment it may thicken back up and save him from the regret later on. Not all baldness happens the same he is clearly thinning out and pretty bad in atleast that spot.
I'm an idiot? You're a full head on a hairloss forum, you cretin. I told him the truth: If he wasn't born with that thinning patch then he's balding. You're out here predicting the future and spewing nonsense about the Norwood scale when clearly you have no understanding of it. Absolute clown.

Imagine being in your mid 30s and not knowing the difference between "your" and "you're", yet I'm the idiot lmao

I would say that you are an NW1.5 and are diffuse thinning in the frontal region.

Cut your hair to a 2/3 guard uniformly and I'm sure you'll get a better understanding of your current hairloss, then you can treat it from there with minoxidil and finasteride if you so choose....that's your best bet.

You have a great head shape so if you buzz it short, you will still look decent. But you have enough hair so you don't have to worry about that option at this point unless you are curious to see how it looks now.

Thanks man. I’m debating it. I used to shave it from Time to time. Kinda tempted to out of curiosity like you said

Anyone here saying this guy has hairloss are RETARDED. He has ZERO hairloss. Look @ his temples and front. NW2? LMAO!!!

Buddy, don’t listen to these morons. You have great hair. Get off this forums and come back in two years. You don’t need medication. If it bothers you see a derm.

OP, you might have some other balding that isn’t related to male pattern baldness. You have no loss in your temples and crown looked ok. See a derm, maybe something else is going on. I just re looked at your front and yes there is SOME thinning, but hardly any for 30.

I’m almost 32 actually. You seem very educated actually. I have been on A medication for years that is known to cause balding and mess with hormones its called suboxone. Dad has full head at 63. Grandpa on moms side was bald though not sure at what age that happened. Because my hair hasn’t changed in years since I’ve been on it. I’ll talk to my doctor when I see him. What blood test would you recommend getting ?
