Pretty ignorant to hair loss. What stage am I at? I am 31 and have been noticing thinning since 27,Luckily I can still style it so you don’t know I’m balding at all looks like thick curly hair. But if it’s wet it’s a way different story or not styled it’s a diff story. What norwood am I ? I got finsta buy I’m scared to try it as the sexual side affects. thanks for any help.

    0. You have a pronounced widows peak which is cool. You’re good

What's with that 6th picture. Is this your lady chatterly's failed audition pic.......Anyways, you're starting to thin in front, and in your early 30's, typical. Get on finasteride.

NW2A diffuse pattern. Your are lucky your curly hair will hide it really good. Straight hair would never do that.

Have you always had a thin forelock? If so, I'd say you have no hairloss.

Plenty of guys are born with a gap in their hairline e.g. Dan Smith from Bastille

More angles from side. I shave the sides on a 2 just for a heads up if you’re thinking it looks weird

You're hairline is perfect (NW0), especially for a 29yr old. It's just a matter of whether or not you've always had that thinning in the centre forelock. If it has come on, then technically you would be thinning in a NW2A pattern.

You are definitely thinning but fortunately you have your hairline more or less intact. Reality is finasteride is your only option. You need to ask yourself if the risks are worth it and how important your hair is to you.

Actually 31 bro. It’s thinning yeah but like I said over 4 years since I thought I noticed at 27 very slowly if any. You think I should go on finsta? Here is a pic from 3 years ago do you see any difference. ?

I can't speak for everyone, but I've been on it for over 2 years and had no side effects and according to most people on here I've at least maintained what I've got. Plus, finasteride works better for diffuse thinners so it's possible you could even gain.

Different angles on the pics but nothing drastically different. Like Doctor House said, the fact you have thick curly hair with a low hairline buys you time.

I agree with dochouse, pretty bad thinning that's concealable right now. But it's definitely difusing and you are not nw0 like some are suggesting. Will probably accelerate in next few years

Ehh post-finasteride syndrome is a contentious topic and is debatable whether or not it's a real thing. Do your research and see if it something you would be willing to risk. I would start on finasteride if I was you, but like I said, I've had no sides.
