Seriously. The "A" pattern of hairloss is the worst by far. Looks terrible in the earlier stages of loss. It's frigging scary for me. I am no where near it yet but that's my pattern I think. Thankfully it's very amenable to a transplant (fullish hair can be restored) but still.
What's your Norwood btw Resu and pattern? Never asked you I think.

Agreed. Jude law still has loads of hair but looks like *** because he's losing his forelock. Gotta say I prefer my diffuse thinning, at least it looks okay shaved.
Come to think of it, why the hell hasn't jude law got hair transplant? He's got tonnes of mega thick donor and only a small area to cover.
The mobile site for here is just awful, deletes my list when trying to edit

All good points. Though i'd say ONLY if treaments don't work (finasteride or minoxidil) or the lose effectiveness and you're looking to do a transplant. It looks very bad I agree but long term it's actually the best pattern. It doesn't exceed 5A and your crown remains pretty good. With a transplant you can get so much hair back and probably life long protection with meds. Yes it's a hassle with a hair transplant but you will never be bald with this pattern, especially as they tend to have at least average donor hair. You look more bald than you are as it's all from the front. Yet you can get a full looking head of hair back, priceless.
The other pattern I like is people who start thinning at the vertex with an intact hairline. That's great with meds if you catch it early but again it could be very aggressive too.
Diffuse is the worst IMHO. I know some people have recovered a lot with medication as you have no bald areas and that skews the thinking on the forum. But generally this type of loss shows your entire head is very DHT sensitive and especially at a young age, that's no good thing. Long term prospects don't look as great with this generally speaking.
I like to look at the big picture.
