Here's me while I was wearing light density.
I would ditch that piece. As I mentioned, cut the excess lace and go for a light density. The hair looks wiggiah because of density.
I don't think that's dirt and grime. I believe they are speck marks from not being bleached properly . My first piece had that dotted appearance because the person that dyed it did a horrible job. Blotch marks.
Hairline clean up: micro fibre towel and a tooth brush worked for me. Saturate the piece and towel in alchohol and gradually work the glue of the lace. It will roll in a ball and eventually pick up other glue before making its way to the tip of the lace or into micro towel. The brush can help scrap excessive glue until it has enough traction to be picked up with microfiber towel
