Fellow members,
This thread will show my battle against hairloss. This will have monthly updates.
Background information about me ;
Since I was 17 I've notice my hairline was receding. I've always had very thick hair. At first it didn't bother me that much, but since I became 19 years old it started to get noticeable.. Currently I'm 20 years old. My hair is getting thinner at the back, it also receding even further. (Sorry if my English isn't that great, I'm from the Netherlands)
My father is a Norwood 6, he started balding at around 18 and has been bald since he was like 27. Same goes for both of my grandfathers. And I don't want to follow up this pattern . My goals is to maintain what I have, and it would be nice if there would be gains.
The start 20-02-17:
This is the month before is started my regime.
Start regime 22-03-17:
This is the status of my hair at the start of my regime.
My regime is as follows:
- 0.15mg dutasteride daily (22:00)
- Dermaroller 1.5mm daily (20:00)
- 5% minoxidil 1 time daily (20:00)
- Supplements (Biotin, krill, omega 3,6,9, perilla)
- Started hitting the gym again
1 month status 22-04-17:
I noticed my hair thinning out. At the end of the month is noticed I'm losing 100's of hairs, this always was around 10 hairs. I find hairs every time I run my hands trough my hair, while showering and applying wax.
Since 1/5/17 I started applying minoxidil in the morning and in the evening, so two times a day.
