I have not tried the topical because I was waiting the new formula but, based on the latest post, might be a slight help in hair loss, but nothing outstanding. I would like to know if it works well in turning white hairs to the original color, because if that is the case I think it would still be useful for some people. What are your experiences regarding hair color?

I've been on it for around 25 days, using it 3-4 times daily, its been a pretty easy part of my routine. My scalp feels better, and is also not as hot to the touch as it used to be. Hair looks darker, but it's too early for anything big. I emailed Dr Vickers a few days ago:

I was wondering when your new formula will be out? Also will you be sharing any of the results that people have shown you? The thread on hairlosstalk is eager to see results as a lot of members are speculating that the formula isn’t giving favorable results, because nobody is posting before and after photos.

Dr Vickers:
About 3-4 months before the upgrade. The chemistry of adding the new natural compounds (without interfering with other current compounds) is a slow process to ensure safety.
I have been getting back very favorable comments from many people so I’m a bit surprised about the members who speculate it doesn’t work. One group of 20 Italians said they were all very pleased at the 3-4 month mark. I don’t have access to the forum group to avoid any scientific bias I may have if I comment. I suppose its up to members to post their photos without any pressure from me (as a health specialist /surgeon) or anyone else.
keep in touch,
regards Dr Vickers

well its nice if it works for some.. i definitely saw hair darkening spatially on my beard.

But no regrowth at all. I guess the fact you are on finasteride helps a lot

Any updates?
Been using since september but i was using filtered water the first couple of months instead of distilled. I do believe it thickened up the back of my head/crown and darkened the hair there as well but I was hoping for improvement on my hairline with this which I didn't get.

I am past the 4 month mark now and I am not disappointed but I am realistic about the time line involved. There has been some improvement and the hair that grows is dark in colour not grey like it was before. However I believe it will take a full 12 months to see good cosmetic results, so far I am getting 5-10 new hairs popping up every day with lots of black dots on the scalp which I believe to be new developing follicles. So at this point I am fairly sure it is a promising treatment. No DHT blocker is being used at the moment but I may try something soon.

The issues with ZT are

1. Delivery method. Dr Vickers has already stated that it is not ideal and hopefully better ways of delivering the compound into the scalp can be found at a later date. At the moment the compound is applied directly to the scalp and absorbed through hair shaft/pores there is no actual delivery vehicle that I know of within the compound. Derma stamp/roll would possibly improve performance.
2. DHT. On its own it activates/signals stem cells to create new follicles however it does little to block DHT from damaging existing follicles or new ones. The new premium compound seeks to address this but it could be months away so don't throw the finasteride in the bin just yet.
3. Preservative. The compound uses benzoic acid as a preservative and if over used it can cause scalp irritation in some people with sensitive scalps. Personally I use a antihistamine and a gentle baby shampoo to counter act the itch but your best off just not over using it and keeping it to the recommended amount.

To sum up: Does it work? Yes although I accept its still too early to be totally convinced. Is it a slow burner? Yes. Would it be more effective with a DHT blocker? 100% yes. Is it cheap? Yes on par with Minoxidil. Am I going to carry on using it? Yes it takes time to develop/ regrow hair so for a non toxic compound it seems to be doing what I want it to do just very slowly.

Spot on post! I’ve had similar results without almost not having a result! If that makes sense!

Your right it’s not going to stop anything without a dht blocker but the way it can make the scalp feel plus the darkening of some hair will keep me applying. At the 5month mark now

You guys think this will be enough for maintenance?
No I don't think so not until the premium version comes out anyway. Using it by itself is a bit of a paradox were you gain new hair but possibly lose existing hair at the same time. No different from using only topical minoxidil really.

I would have taken him more seriously if he told me to use fina as a dht blocker and the ZT to increase regrowth. (makes more sense even if i am not a fina user at all)

But trinov ? does he have a partnership with them :D

It does seem like expensive hair dye at the moment but another couple of months before we know for sure if its a bust.
