S5 Cream Vs S5 Plus Whats The Difference?

Hey all! Ive been using S5 cream for about a week now, started applying 2x daily which so far isnt as bad as i'd thought! :) but when it comes the time to order more cream should i just stick with the regular S5 or go to the plus? I know it has two more ingredients which supposedly help male pattern baldness but the price is ridiculous! ( Especially the shipping )Has anyone tried it and got any or better results?

Obviously for me its still early days but it must at least be doing something as there is now rarely an itch where i apply the cream and have saw a couple of people providing pics of REGROWTH with the cream alone, although i believed this to be dr lee's solution and hes not around anymore but surely it shouldn't make a difference?

PS. If all you have to say is that topical spironolactone is snake oil dont bother replying because it obviously does work, just not as well as other treatments but for some it has been great. So in conclusion has anyone tried S5 cream plus? How was your experience? Im looking more for maintenance and thickening rather than regrowth as we all know minoxidil is the stimulant ( which i wont take )

Alfatradiol and tempeh will plausibly give you modest benefits, perhaps more in synergy with the spironolactone.

I'm amazed that nobody's made an omnibus treatment. Add minoxidil, castor oil, oregano oil, zinc, b6, stemoxydyine, lol.

Thank you :) I'll give it a shot at least, use the regular cream in morning then the plus at night. DHT is supposedly at its peak during sleep so hopefully that can help me out. I think ( i mean i really hope ) my shedding and thinning is decreasing finally as the root of the follicle seems to be the same thickness at the thinner side for quite the length of the hair strand. But so far with propecia its been hell. Never been balder haha but im trying to stay optimistic. One more thing.... why caster oil? Whats so great or beneficial about it in Androgenetic Alopecia?

A lot of anecdotes online of castor oil stimulating growth of hair all over the body. It supposedly increases PGE2 response.

Personally I notice that my castor oil plus zinc oxide cream helps with acne.

Well it sure is nice i have some around the house lol. I may give it a try in a month or two, wanna see how my current regime works out. Im at least hoping for maintenance but while solo with propecia that did not happen, just a sharp decline. When i started my fight against hair loss i never dreamed i'd be doing and probably eventually resorting to the things im doing, but hey im almost 20 and i shouldnt be balding at all :( I may be losing the fight right now but i wont allow myself to ever lose the war

Do you get a lot of itch in your scalp?

Before i started propecia im not sure, but when i started I definitely began experiencing itchiness and rapid temple loss and thinning hairline, its only mostly stopped now that ive added Nizoral and topical spironolactone. Dont get me wrong I still itch but at certain points of my solo propecia usage it was unbearable, thats why i started nizoral. I also dermaroll with 0.5mm so that would probably cause a bit of an itch too, but just ordered a 1mm roller for greater absorption and hopefully better results. As for side effects at my age i honestly couldn't care less! I just want this to work out for me and finally catch a break about all the anxiety i have concerning my hair. My last two resorts will be oral spironolactone and minoxidil as much as im dreading the shed haha

Just got my S5 cream in the mail today. Im trying the S5 and if I get no side effects I'll move on to Plus too.. I personally think ill get a lot of regrowth cause my hairloss is not aggressive at all I've been losing hair for over 6 years and I'm about a NW1.5 so if I gain half a Norwood ill be happy

I've used the S5 plus cream for two months and I actually think it's having some effect. I'm basically not shedding the kind of small, weak hairs I used to shed before anymore. And I'm not on any other treatments either so I should be in a good position to evaluate this. Maybe this stuff will actually help me hang on until shiseido, brotzu or whatever comes out.

Nope. Only side I noticed was some redness and irritation on the scalp, the first week or so of using it.

The only annoying part now is that it messes up my hair so much. I have no choice but to shower it off before I go outside.

I've been on S5 cream and dermarolling for almost 2 weeks now, its slightly annoying as the dermaroller tugs out a couple of hairs every time but no noticable change, still definitely below baseline but i think things are slowing down? I'll only know in the coming months. Shedding is still average to a bit on the high side so no change ( was high prior to all treatments )

Ive noticed more hairs are thicker on the bulb side when i do the kitchen sink method, i dont go hard but not so easy either and usually get 1 - 3 hairs, however some hair still seems to be thinning at the root when i check the sink. While my temples are undoubtably worse it does seem thicker than what it did a month ago so I hope it stays that way :( lol.

Anyways thanks for reading guys ill keep you updating and others keep me updated too :)

Update:

Spoke to the manufacturer tonight. They welcome anyone and everyone to have the stuff tested. I'm going to look into it tomorrow and see if I can find an affordable one. Will document the whole process and provide results. Anyone here can do the same.
