Prp Treatment growing "Peach fuzz" but will these hairs become dark, mature hairs?

Hi, I had a PRP Treatment done almost 6 months ago and I have a lot of Peach Fuzz growing.(my entire hair line is covered in peach fuzz) My question to those who have done the PRP treatment, does the peach fuzz ever turn into dark normal hair? I only had the PRP done, not the Acell. My Doctor told me I didn't need to add the Acell when I told him I wanted the PRP + Acell Treatment because "Acell is only needed when the area being treated is physically damaged." The Doctor told me I would need a 2nd treatment after 6 months, it's almost time to cough up another $1600 for the treatment. I wanted to get some input from others who've had success with PRP. I'm leaning towards doing the 2nd treatment in the hopes it'll turn the peach fuzz into dark hairs but hesitant because it's $1600 and all the hair I have grown since my 1st PRP treatment has been Peach fuzz. Thanks in advance for the feedback.

Not sure if anyones had an success restoring hair with PRP, you'd be better saving up for a transplant

Any benefit with hair shedding or scalp/hair health? Tough--I guess this wasn't done with Dr. Greco in Florida(so no CRP)? If you don't cough it up you will never know--if you do find it helps--you will need to continue to need to cough it up to maintain the benefit…

It's more than likely that the peach fuzz your seeing is old hair thats miniaturized rather than new hair. Don't be fooled by it... if you've got male pattern baldness, odds are against you.

@Magster, 2 months after the treatment I had a big shedding of hair but after that shed, I lose maybe 1-10th of what I used to before the treatment. At about the 4 month mark, 2 of my friends asked me if I colored my hair so it is getting a little darker. No not Dr. Greco. I'm in L.A. and only had the PRP. Doctor told me after I have the hair I want(if I grow real hair), only need a treatment every 2-3 years. Well worth it to have hair in my opinion. @mohairMobetta, I'm taking pics every few months and I'll make sure to post the results. I'm getting the 2nd treatment. It's helped so far, lets see what another treatment will do.

@duelmaster, yes but only saw results in the crown area. Noticeably thicker and darker. I was really only looking for a way to thicken the crown, if Prp worked for the crown, I was going to get a transplant in the front. I've heard of shock loss after hair transplants, would like to avoid losing hair I currently have so I had about 50-60 injections in the crown to see if prp could make the area fuller and about 4-5 along the hairline as a test when I did my 1st treatment. At every injection point along the hair line, hairs(peach fuzz) started to grow at the 2 month mark. I knew where the injections were because the area was red for about 4 months, finally going away around the 5 month mark.
I can tell my hair is healthier, it's why I had the 2nd treatment.

I'm not sure but I was totally bald in my left temple, now I have peach fuzz there. About 1/2' in length. I did have peach fuzz on my right temple and those hairs are growing longer. One thing is FOR SURE, I WISH I had this procedure done when I 1st started balding. I barely lose hair now. Even when I shower there's maybe 5-10 hairs I can see on my palms. Before the treatment, If I just ran my hand through my hair, I would have 5 hairs on my palm.
Another thing I've recently noticed is that the hair that does fall out has a white bulb at the end of it. Before the treatment the same area of the hair was all black. Not sure why that is though....???

I'm not a doctor or a specialist, I'm only relaying my own personal experience so I can't tell you what or when Prp is a good idea. All I know is Prp stopped my shedding, if I had done the treatment when my hair 1st started falling out, I'd probably have a full head of hair. Prp won't grow hair back in 2-6 months like some doctors advertise on their websites, those are total bull! So don't expect to have a full head of hair if you're already balding.
I've been taking pictures but can't see the peach fuzz in the pics. I was going to post my before and after pics at 6 month mark but the lighting is different in the original pics(got the new iPhone and pics just don't look the same) so I'm waiting for actual terminal hair growth before I post anything.
Just had a thought, my Doctor took pics too, I'll ask him to send me copies, I can post those. Should be the same lighting and it was the same camera. I'll try to post something one way or another for you.

Dude you have a full head of hair man!! I wish I had that much hair, lol. If you do go for Prp, call around and ask for prices and ask what type of centerfuges the Doctor uses. Do some research on the centerfuges, the quality of Prp varies with them. I only had the Prp, no Acell, no dermo roller just straight Prp injections. The first 2 months are uneventful, you can expect a good shed at the 2 month mark. I had a large shed at the 2 month mark but after that point, you'll notice next to no hair falling out. Even when wet. Remember, stressing about your hair loss causes even more hair loss. You have a full head of hair from what I saw of your pics. Be thankful!

I waited for years to do the treatment. I read the comments by people on the Internet about how Prp was a con. I waited to the point where I was forced to do something, anything as you'll see when I post my pics. I learned my lesson the hard way. There are actual trials on Prp now that prove it works. I'll try to find the link. Prp is no con and I wish I didn't wait so long to do it. If nothing else, Prp stops the shedding. I'm not sure how much you spend on pills but I'm guessing Prp costs more but I'd rather have something natural than swallow a bunch of pills that mess with my manhood.
