People tend to associate their own self-awareness and aesthetics issues, including baldness, with the female behaviors towards them, you can't really blame them (and me) for that, it's kinda natural

Certainly true for me at least as far as women are concerned. I was always short and ugly. I even always had a bad hairline from birth.

Balding to any extent just made it worse.

Agreed. I don't really care what i look like in a mirror just for myself. But my face isn't for ME to look at. It's for the world to look at. So for me it's about what other people perceive when they look at me and as a hetero guy women are at the top of that list.

I don't like it but it's just how it is.
