minoxidil alternatives, need hair growth solutions

I don't have time at the moment to go through the thread and look if there are others..but here's what I said(don't know if I listed any others after this):

To Gizmo..you could check out procyanidins..as posted in this thread: http://www.hairlosstalk.com/interact/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=64440&start=10 although as I say there it'd maybe make more sense to use a combination product that also contains the pro's. There are plenty of other products out there one could try as well..it's hard to compare to minoxidil as they never seem to have trials etc to make a comparison. Things such as Dermaheal...Dermatopoietin..many plant stem cell containing products..etc.

so what's the general consensus here then? If minoxidil is out of the question, what is the next best treatment (or combination of treatments) for regrowth? I have a lot of velus hair, I'm on propecia, and allergic to minoxidil. what would you guys do?

I read that post but read hundreds of posts (in that "other" forum) , some in that same thread but also at others - saying emu oil + castor oil will never do what is shown with that guy's hair.
