Microneedling Photo Results Summary

@Pigeon I have a question regarding hair lifecycle. I am using minoxidil with roller/pen for over two years I think. Mostly I was using 0.5-1mm depth needles. After reading this thread I've started using Nizoral and at least 1.5mm length needles. In the first month or 1.5 month I've noticed significant thickening of the hair and lots of new hair, which is, of course, bearly visible. I am not using fina and probably will never use.

Unfortunately for last one moth I see massive shedding It's now visible whatbit was and what it is at this moment. On the other hand I still see and feel growing hair under my fingers.

Can this be related to the hair cycle and now possible regrowth?

Also I'm considering FUE transplant in Turkey, but I'm curious if that's still possible after this two years of needling?

Any help will be appreciated

Duasteride topical seems to do something positive.. Microneedling is also easy. I use 1.5 mm. You can vary the pressure to scalp. Also if you want some topical estrogen, I see they sell 100% strength estriadol by the gram. I got some few days ago. Seems to darkening lighter hairs.

Only by their device . I doubt that everythinf folica said about NEW folicels is even real . Other wise its would be a cure cuz you would be able to create new folicels forever

So what makes it impossible being a cure using that definition?

And their device isn't magical in any way, it's just a way to deliver the right amount of wounds with good control and speed.

Saw Palmetto is pointless. Just microdose finasteride or topical duta if you want to go low systemic impact route

For some reason I fear microneedling. I'm afraid of hurting healthy folicles

Haven't seen you in a while but how would that be possible since microneedling heals scars and appears to be capable of creating new follicles out of scar tissue?

Honestly I think the majority of the microneedling users didn’t get the results some people showed up here. For me personally it didn’t work. Several months of treatment (2x week microneedling with Derminator 2 and Rogaine directly after) with no results. It even got worse.

I agree, the notion that microneedling is some magic technique is overrated at best. It encourages collagen production which I think is a key to hair growth, but it should be used in conjunction w) retin A, Vitamin C, minoxidil. Even with these it’s clearly not enough. At best it is a positive step but situation requires vastly more interventions

Lighting Ofcourse makes difference. Strong LED light glares out some hairs. Looks like little improvement, but not what we really want. Strong, elongating thickening hair. Microneedling is better to do than not to do… But you need much more collagen/ capillary formation IMO
But you are taking photos & trying things so keep up good work

thanks for the comment I am 4 months of regime .... they tell me to wait at least 1 year to see more results .... of course the light makes a difference ... but first in the crown if you see the photos I was bald ... I continue with the regime then let's see if there will be improvement

I don’t want to tell anybody what to do. But Biosil liquid helps with collagen… suppose to use few drops. I just squirt a stream into Chardonnay & gulp it. My eyebrows are starting to sprout new hairs.
Overhaul hair looks healthier. I’m going to get another 1oz bottle & see if I’m imagining things. I’ve tried bunch of hair pills & discontinued. This might be a keeper
