I've been needling on and off since 2014. The only time I had any significant hair growth was when I was rolling incredibly hard (to the point of drawing blood) every 3 weeks. I was using a 1.5mm derma roller btw.
What made you stop doing that since this method worked for you?

The ultimate Question is. does the new hair growth maintain ? I mean if I have to microneedle 12 times a year thats also not bad.

I feel like microneedling ONLY works for those who have stabilized

Microneedling is easy to do. The wounds heal up relatively quickly. I do it, although the results aren’t anywhere near what’s being presented. You can pull out existing hairs if your not careful. The needles do get dull so replace derma roller in timely manner. Two weeks is about the time scalp full heals. These “studies” are probably bogus, but it is a good thing to microneedle.

At the time I attributed the new growth to other agents I was using. It was also difficult to hide the redness for the ensuing 3 - 4 days after rolling.
