This is what scares me about hair transplants. It isn't the strip scars which you can avoid with fue. It's when the day comes to shave it off all and you have those pluggy looking roots spread across your head. HE LOOKS TERRIBLE
This guy has zero perception, and consciousness towards how ridiculous he actually looks.

1000 FUE grafts, and SMP would fix this.

Fix what? His scars?

What about those f*****g roots man. This is exactly why I'm hesitant about the whole 'create coverage and keep it short'. I like the idea but what happens when you have to shave to the bone? This is what happens. You look like a freak.

A zero guard wont show your FUE scars if they used a proper 0.6MM-0.8MM slit technique/instrument

A FUT can easily be taken care off by flattening the keloid scars, and grafting over them. All though the success rate of each graft is much lower due to the rejection. Around 70%

When it's grown out abit it doesn't look too bad. A few more grafts to add coverage at the back he would ok with this short style

It's when he shaved to the bone he looks f*****g terrible.

Look like plugs.

Not enough graft coverage. Need additional work to fill in the spaces, and gaps.

Yeah like I said man it's not about the scars. It's about the roots of the hairs you have transplanted that look out of place once you start shaving to the bone.

This is my whole dilemma. I don't have the grafts to create good coverage. I can only create thin coverage and keep it short. Like Fred does. But when the day comes to shave to the bone I will be left with pluggy looking roots spread across my head.

Or is this not the case?

I know his hair transplant was probably done a while ago so maybe it wouldn't look as pluggy now. Or would it?

Is this what happens when you shave to the bone? Even today's technology. Your left with pluggy looking roots spread across your head?

Is it avoidable? Using thinner body hair?

Just looked up his age, I thought he was older than he is. He is also a short guy. Never heard of him until now. His transplant looks similar to Matt Lauer's.

Heath Ledger aged 27.

Makes me wonder if it wasn't suicide

DAMN!!! So much difference hair can make. Sometimes, it almost looks like his skin has aged significantly in his bald pics (it seems that way although it might not be the case). It's not like he is 20 years older in that pic. Maybe his skin "stands out" more because of baldness. Ugh, this sucks.

You talking about the tv presenter? He looks to me like he's just gone bald over the years?

So, who do you think looks the worst since going bald?

It can be brutal for some people.

Share your best examples.

This thread is a cautionary tale

Would post an image of myself.

But I'm afraid people will find it, and send me hate mail.

That, or I'll get a foreign bride. She'll kill me for my money,
and leave me for a full head!

nah he just looks f*****g haggard in general and his hair, although a major contributor wasn't the be all and end all. He must have been abusing drugs for a pretty long time.

I wonder why he shaves it if he has that scar and he has some hair to cover it

Kim Frank, former (obviously his career is over now) German singer

Seven years between these two pics and of course the weight gain didn´t help either. He probably didn´t give a f*** about his diet because he knew would be ugly with that "hair"

There are also those who shave it for no obvious reason.

Victor Valdes started to shave it for no reason lol. "Just shave it" well he did it AND he was on international television. He has kept it shaved for at least 6 straight years.

Lately, he let it grow.

Still 10/10 hair and Valdes is 34 years old. If he would say "male pattern baldness is no big deal" we can't say the "just shave it and prove it" stuff. Asking to put make-up on his head to hide his shade is retarded. No man would put make-up on him, especially not on his scalp lol.

It is a f*****g mystery mate. Only needs a few more grafts at the front to get decent coverage to grow it out again. The shaved head look doesn't look good on him at all, scars or no scars

I think it absolutely destroy Brendan Fraisers carear..>Unlike Heath Ledger i think he was going to be fine acting in spite of hair.

Brendan Fraiser i saw him recently on the show The Affair in a small role--i was shocked he was very obviously wearing a ton of Toppik and he really gained a lot of weight.
It just seemed like such a small insignificant show and part for this former A list top box office star.

Heath Ledger in my opinion was solidifying himself as phenomenal character actor not unlike Jack Nicholson who never lost a role due to his hair.

Some can survive it in Hollywood some can't i dont really know 'what' makes the difference.

They are different types of actors Brendan Frasier vs Heath Ledger perhaps this is the thing..
