What do you guys think? First picture is after about 3 months. Second picture is before I started.

What dose are you using? I did not see any results, in fact I kept losing hair the past 2 months. Yours does seem to look a bit better.

Here’s an around 4 month update. What do you guys think? First two pics are wet hair. Other two are dry. Do you guys think there is an improvement? I think it’s still too early but we will see. Also what Norwood do you think I am?? I thought I’d be a 1.5-2 but not quite sure.
Older pictures are a few messages above. Let me know what you think!

dam i think your hair looks pretty awesome ! this really looks like small maturing temples.. a lot of my friend got it when they got into their 20's and 7-8 years later in our late 20's now, their hair are still pretty much the same without any meds

I thought that too! But I have thinning behind my hairline so I know it’s getting worse.

You'd be a good candidate for regenera and maybe you could get maintenance.

But is lactofferin working you think?
Ehh idk yet. I went throw two bad sheds in the past 4 months. Maybe in a few months I could give you a better answer!

Looking at your pics, it looks like there was a small patch on your right side that was looking weak. In your latest photo it is not noticeable anymore. Hard to know if this is due to longer length however I personally feel like it looks better. And your hair has definitely not gotten worse so could be that Lactoferrin could be perfect for maintaining. BUt from my own experience I feel lactoferrin has thickened my hair ever so slightly

Time to close this thread, like Brotzu and others sh*t ?
In my experience it's not sh*t nor a miracle lotion. LF filled up my temples with black baby hairs (< 5cm). I use a little on the rest of my scalp to make it less oily.

I increased gelatin intake, 14 grams a day. My hairloss is a steady 60-80 hairs now for the past months (female, 32).

I agree with you @MrsS - I was on holiday for a few weeks and ended up being off Lactoferrin for a good month. Towards the end I noticed an increase in shredding so I hopped back onto it. First few days when I was applying it, I noticed 30-40 hairs on my comb. After two weeks the number is now back down to around 10. So I 100% believe that Lactoferrin does something good to your hair - whether it will make you go from a NW5 to NW3/4 is a different question which can only be found out with time and consistent application but I personally believe with the few months I have used Lactoferrin, it slows down/maintains hair. Also My hair feels healthier a thicker. Will keep my progress up dated

I've upped my dose to 6 capsules / 60 mL and I'm getting sensitive nipples from this sh*t. Anyone else? It does not happen if I take a capsule orally.

It's made from bovine whey, probably some residual cow estrogens in that extract. It's only 90% lactoferrin. Would also explain the mild hair results some are having, LOL. Wish we could get this sh*t pure enough for topical application.

I use 60/ml as well and I've not experienced a single side effect.

Also I highly doubt that the whey is causing that symptom as millions of people, including myself, drink large quantities of whey protein everyday. So try to chill bro - it's probably just all in your head.

Nope. I started taking gelatin in april, a month before LF. Glycine in gelatin has an inhibitory effect on estrogen’s actions. Helps me in many ways with estrogen dominance (weight gain, fatigue, gut problems, inflammation). Can't tell it's exact effect on hair loss as I currently use a few things, but overall I see and feel improvement. It tastes like sh#t though.

No, it's reproducible, and as I said it does not happen if I take it orally. The gut is well known to deactivate hormones and hormone-like substances and render them unavailable. This is only an issue when using it topically.

Quick update:

Still using LF on my temples, sometimes I miss a day Or two. A-KG is a no for me as it made me shed big time. Had to slow down on the gelatin. It works great for hair quality & gut, but also overstimulates bowel .

For the past 6 weeks my hairloss is at it a minimum, about 20-50 hairs daily. No more bird nests after showering. In september my doctor recommended adding vitamin K2 (MK7) with my vitamin D. I take vitamin D year round.

Don't know if K2 helps with shedding? Or it's a coincidence and I'm experiencing a "rest phase"?
