Is This The Most Aggresive Hairloss Ever?

Hey,

Apologies for no pictures at the moment, but I'm not making this up. I've seemingly gone from a beginning NW2 in december last year to a full NW3 right now. I've gone up an entire norwood in 3 months at the age of 17. Are there more cases of such an aggresive hairloss at such a young age? When I pull my hair back I'm already seeing a NW4 pattern thinning out, it's so ridiculous that I can't help but laugh at the situation.

Pics would be helpful, but it happens. I went up from a NW2 to NW3 in like 4 months after starting finasteride.
Happened to me too :/ im on 5 months though and it doesn't look good!!

If it makes you feel better, I initially had increased shedding on finasteride, but after like 1 year the loss slowed down significantly. I never grew back the hair I shed, but my hair loss has slowed down at this point. I would stick with the stuff for at least 1-1.5 years. And I have been on it nearly 3 years now. Planning on switching over to dutasteride in the next few days. Already got the stuff, just nervous to start it.

These pictures were taken 10~ months apart (one late may last year and the other one yesterday).

Right temple right now. I suppose this is NW3? I've got thinning on the forelock, very thin and wire-y hair.

Definitely not the most aggressive I have seen, you can't even be compared to diffuse thinners. By the age of 18 I had a perfect hairline NW0 yet I had to sport a comb over to hide my scalp.

Nah I'm definitely a clear 'receder' instead of a diffuse thinner, but I'm just baffeled at the speed it's receding is all. I expected to go bald since part of my family did, but not this quickly haha.

Since you aren't following the same trend as the rest of your family then maybe you will be one of those guys that recedes a bit then just stops balding after a certain stage. Honestly with the upcoming treatments you shouldn't even have too many problems. Fidia should be releasing Brotzu's lotion within the next 1-2 years and there's also Winlevi from Cassiopeia to be expected in 2 years.

Well I'm receding in the exact same fasion as my dad and granfather, but they started balding at 24 and 32~ respectively. I also was very early with puberty and lots of bodyhair so I don't hold out much hope for it to suddenly stop, but I am excited for possible upcoming treatments!

I went from a NW1.5 to a NW5a in a matter of 18 months, your hair loss is minimal if you treat it now you'll be good man.

Not sure what to treat it with. I could use minoxidil I suppose and finasteride, but I'm especially on the fence with the latter one, since I'm this young and I don't like the idea of messing with my hormones.

Personally I wouldn't start finasteride until 19. (18 at the minimum if it is getting out of control). Your hair is not a NW3 yet tho. Hopefully future treatments will work, but for now the only really effective treatments are finasteride and minoxidil.

Finally might as well post this for opinions. I believe my forehead is way too massive to shave it, but maybe it's my warped self reflection talking. Sorry for the insecure bla bla haha.

Thinning hairs results in hair loss and if proper care not taken on time then it may result in severe baldness and the same thing happened with you. NW1, NW2 and NW3 are indications of degree of baldness that you have.
