The good news is that you have great density. Catch your loss this early and you will maintain an even thicker head then you already have with the introduction of finasteride.

if it bugs you then a small transplant in the future can restore lost density and temple peaks.

Even telling someone of this age to "get a small hair transplant" just proves how much of a bozo you really are. What about when he's 35 40? Delete your account before you poison anyone else.

"I want to be Norwood - 2"

"OMGz y r U telling People this age to get a transplAntz!?"

Lol

Probably because, I don't know...it WORKS? What about when he's 35 or 40? Cool, he'll have only spent the last 10-20 years with a completely rekt hairline. You'd think someone who has been NW2 for nearly a decade and wants to be NW1 would've taken the plunge and got a "small transplant" by now.

I won't get a hair transplant because I don't know if my hairloss will progress when I'm 35ish. You should get one though, have fun taking your kids to soccer when you're 35-40 with a bunch of unnatural fluffy weeds on ur head. "What's wrong with your dads hair". If I go progress any further like nw4 I'm bicing my dome because I'm already jacked as f*** and alpha as foooooook. Again go back into that dark dark sad place you live in.

It's male pattern baldness bud. I am the same age and I have about the same amount of recession, I also never had a straight hairline. But I went to a hair specialist recently and he confirmed that I'm already losing hair. And yours seem to be the same density and hairline as mine. Maybe just a little more fucked. I'm on the fence about taking finasteride though as I'm still so young and I don't want to play with my hormones. Maybe look up RU, I hear it's a finasteride alternative but the side effects aren't nearly as bad. Idk how true that is but im thinking of starting it. Good luck.

Dude shut the f*** up because you literally don't know sh*t. You posted a picture of Reagan who has no hairloss literally definition of a juvenile hairline. My hairline looked like this kids from when I was born that's why I feel I can give a better description of what's going on. It's not coping seriously you circle jerking depressed losers just bash in low Norwoods. The ignorance on this forum is legit hilarious. You think you're experience but you literally are a robot of what's repeated by active losers on this site. "There's no mature hairline" like mature hairline is describing someone who has male pattern baldness but extremely slow where they go to a Norwood 1.5 -2 at early 20s and where they can go 30 years passing before they pass another norwood. Tell me that's not true because my entire family has this pattern. I don't give a f*** about "coping" another abused term on this site by depressed bald people like yourself. My hairloss is stable, has been for a while. Doctors have told me I'm a Norwood 2 I don't need to come comment on someone's picture to justify my own Norwood 2 that makes no fuckin sense lol. Crawl back into your troll hole you kissless virgin.
Triggered and hopeless.

What you see isn't an accurate representation of where you will remain for the years ahead. Androgen activity does not only affect the areas you see, rather it is slowly eroding your entire scalp to the final pattern of your disposition.

Shave your head moron and wake up. Any body experiencing hair loss before the age of twenty five is within an aggressive category. Only then will you see how obvious and blind you are.

A mature hairline is bullshit. It's something nobody notices because the recession over the years is so gradual that you dont even recognize it.

A good example of a fool who believes one piece fits all.

You legit don't know much and are blinded by this forum. Lmfao. wait so you're saying age is the factor that determines how aggressive hairloss is? Not the hairloss itself? Dude you are a prime time bozo, please delete your account. No one said a Norwood 2 would stay a nw2 forever... like are you dumb I don't get how else I can break this down. It's all about how fast or slow your hairloss is. Can that change? Yes it can but if you from a low Norwood at an early age then hold it for a number of years, that's called nonaggressive hair loss. If you don't know that you should never give advice. A Norwood 2 is NOT thinning anywhere else on the scalp (I've been mapped). Will they thin later? Probably yes. But if you stay a Norwood for a long time that's solid, YOU DONT HAVE AGGRESSIVE BALDING. You can hold that for many many years and lose the rest in your 50s. I'm not saying this because it's my personal situation, I'm saying it from f*****g years of research, 3 hair transplant consults, and thousands and thousands of reviews.

It's funny everyone making these comments have just started researching and taking finasteride etc within the last year lol. Any qualified professional will tell you age is not a factor. Someone can go from a nw2 at 19 to a Norwood 3 by 35. Or someone can go from a nw1 at 30 to a Norwood 5 by 35... tell me which ones aggressive hairloss. When I joined this site I thought there was actual adults with knowledge but in reality it's a bunch of people that just started losing their hair that all feed off each other with very minimal amateaur knowledge. Ask a doctor this exact question. There's countless YouTube videos on this exact topic.

Update - just got back from my consultation with the hair loss doctor. He looked at my hairline and laughed and told me he just cannot advise treatment since I don't have any thinning, and that my recession was perfectly normal. He was really happy I was this proactive about it, and said if I see it get any worse to start laser therapy there, and not to worry about aggressive hairloss because I've shown a healthy, steady mature slight recession, and by the time it got any worse (whenever that is) I could easily save it with laser treatment. He didn't offer finasteride because he said it's mostly just for the crown, and I have 0 crown thinning. Super relieved, glad I went. Thank you for all of your help: even if you don't all agree with each other, you all just want to see me get better and it's amazing that there's a support community out there for bettering people with similar conditions. Have an amazing day friends, much love

If your Doctor is advising "laser treatment" as a viable treatment, I'd get a 2nd opinion from someone who can at least PRETEND to know what they're talking about. There's no rush, if you're not thinning I wouldn't be impulsive on anything you do regarding hair loss treatments.

Yeah no offence but if a doctor told u about laser treatment then they just dont know about hairloss and to be honest most doctors dont. Age is a complete factor of agressive hairloss, if the doctor didnt put a microspoe to your head and check for miniaturization in each unit then thick hair doesnt mean much. I had thick hair too just like you. U can do what we all did and deny hair change until its to late and scramble for treatment maybe ull be lucky and your hair will stabilize.
