Can't really tell from the old pic, maybe it just got a little worse because it matured. Check for miniaturized hair, and softly massage along your hairline to stimulate the hair and keep it heathy. Doesn't look like it's getting worse and it looks fine with the right haircut.

Your forehead isn't that big, it is big but nothing out of the ordinary, recession makes it look a bit worse than it actually is. I would think about starting treatments like finasteride.
