For me it has brought loss of confidence and depression.I always feel anxious in public seeing all guys of my age grp with hair thick has hell
Its hard to be "confident" when you look different than your age group. Does it get better? I think so but in general people get more confident, the older they are. That's why I can't stand statements from 40-year-old sly bald people that tell you: "I'm so confident now at age 40" to a 20-year-old balding guy. The anxious part will never stop unless you fully decide to shave it off or get a hair transplant. Most people will live in the middle ground for years and feel anxious and depressed.
Same here friend....i dont feel like ive been the same ever since
Already on dutasteride still losing it fast.Getting full head of hair is impossible with present treatments.I guess adopting to baldness at young age like 20 is toughUsually what happens is you either end up getting a full head of hair (in good time with treatment) and truly forget about hair loss or you slowly adapt to your hair situation and whatever steps you did/didn't take. The latter really does happen, think of grieving, it may be painful at the onset but overtime that freshness goes and the pain is replaced by blurry memories and numbness no matter how much you didn't want it to or expected it to. If you feel serious negative intensity over hair loss which is impacting on your daily life and it remains constant over time - you'll need to see a Dr to help deal with it better.
Paranoid, checking mirrors when out socialising. Hate it when there isn't a mirror in the disabled toilets. Makes your smart outfit pointless if you have hairloss. Although it’s not as bad since I had my FUE years ago.[/Q
I do check old pics of mine where I had head full of hair and thick hair.Old pics just bring depression.Funny how things changed in 2 years
Get a transplant, it’s the only real option to put your mind at ease.I can't tell you how damaging it's been to my confidence. I was a pretty good looking guy, up until about 3 year's ago. Ive been thinning quite badly since. I have a round face which looked great with the hair I used to have, now, not so much. I can barely work it together with hair fibers anymore. It's becoming more and more obvious that I'm balding and I'm becoming more and more paranoid. Constantly checking mirrors, my phone camera... Its psychological hell. I get up super early in the mornings to style and I pray that I have enough hair for another day. It's ridiculous that something like hair can impact so many if us. I hate it...

Yeah at age 19 I started duta.Ppl say it can save your hairs for more than 10 years bt the way I am losing hair I wish Atleast till my clg I should have hairIt is tough but you'll get there eventually. Try to live your life as normally as you can so you have no regrets on missing out while talking to like minded people. Did you start dutasteride early? Very rare to lose hair on it and you can supplement it with surgery once you stabilise and become 25. Norwood? Hopefully a case where you think it's worse than it is due to feeling emotional.
that sucks very bad.All women prefer men with hairI am quite sure that it is the worst thing to ever happen to me. I'm a high earner, in good shape, well educated, good head shape and masculine features (according to people on here who have seen my photos). Unfortunately, every woman that I might want to date cares about hair and hair alone. I've used deceptive photos to get dates. The deceptive photos camouflaged my diffuse NW6 in dim lighting. If I used honest photos, I got no matches. Topless photos either with a hat or bright lighting did not help because they indirectly revealed my hair loss. I've been on dates with over 40 different women. Young, old, tall, short, fat, thin, foreign, local, rich, poor...all kinds of women. I've been rejected every time and it has now been two years since I started. At the moment I'm thinking of giving up. I'm going to write a will and then decide what to do. All I wanted was a girlfriend and a chance to get married. That's all I ever wanted. I never wanted to be excessively rich or even necessarily happy. Hair loss has taken that opportunity away from me and I feel like I can't live with it any more.
Honestly most teens or early 20s have perfect hair or very early balding - so I think dutasteride should hold you up for decades as you acted early and okay hair genetics. If you show us pics it would really help on here or over PM to someone.
I see almost zero hairloss lmaoCrown
and another thing is not able to grow my hair out
You seem pretty down about it. Marriage is not everything it’s cracked up to be. There are more unhappy married men out there than single. How’s your donor? If you can afford it, get a transplant off a top surgeon like Rahal and get your confidence back. You will be a new man!I am quite sure that it is the worst thing to ever happen to me.
