PERFECT hair at 40. Black dense zero shedding, thinning or recession.
old c*** PCP puts me on thyroid medication, start aggressively shedding 5 months later (this never stops)
I wait a full YEAR, thinking it was a Telogen Effluvium and listening to a doctor that said Finasteride would destroy fertility. Cold turkey on all meds, made my life even healthier, shedding never slows down. Dropped 4K on a laser hat.
In a matter of a year my thyroid is out of whack, nodules from starting a mid stopping meds, so I resume.
the Telogen Effluvium dermatologist tells me minoxidil is harmless, so I start and have the most gruesome shed imaginable and never recover. another year and in desperation start RU and topical Finasteride. Sides after about 4 weeks. Continue.
Oral minoxidil shedding never stopped. eventually tried low dose Propecia.
baseline was so f*****g insane that I still had solid hairline after 3 years. Vertex and crown thinned. Thyroid levels are optimized. Shedding never stopped.
August/September losing ground in the crown switch from topical Finasteride to topical Dutasteride (thought it was safer) 6 months later I can’t get normal errections my once ideal dick feels cold and numb, my temples have thinned and overall my density is maybe 20% of baseline.
I now take/apply 21 different things daily. Before hairloss I didn’t even need a f*****g vitamin. Spent about 1200 on drugs each month.
