i think i gonna hit 1 year in feb using daily 0.5mg dutasteride + 50mg spironolactone + 5mg oral minoxidil. 0 results btw. Last 30 days Ive been eating health and Ive been making 1 hour exercise daily (running + calisthenics)
Did you at least maintain? Is hair the same thickness as a year ago? If so congratulations, you just beat male pattern baldness. Lets celebrate with champagne and pizza, and a male stripper in a pink thong.

Can you believe someone actually spends a lot of time just hanging out on a dead forum about hair loss? I guess I check it hoping to hear some news about new treatments, but there never will be any.

I’d be happy if something came out to thicken hair, because HRT can stop hair loss and even reverse it a bit, but it won’t bring back the original thickness and density.

Bro i do the same, i still coming here like every week. But at least you got results with HRT and you can have a decent life without worrying about hair loss.

The Japanese have made good progress in regenerating follicles using cells. It’s unlikely that this would work without HRT, but they’ll probably find a way in the future to reverse miniaturization if the androgen issue is solved.

Are oral anti androgens like spironolactone a last resort for guys who don’t stabilise on dutasteride/min/RU? ‘Cause that’s me right now, and I don’t know what to do anymore.

the old guards of the forum seem to have swore on topical spironolactone but spironolactone is pretty bad for your health. bicalutamide is considered a better bet but i don't know if anyone here has tried it without estradiol as a base.

Fibrosis and calcification on scalp needs to be taken care of. Good diet, lots of exercise, avoiding alcohol/smoking and avoiding foods/snacks/sugar that trigger internal inflammation. Or just get on HRT lmao.
