You dont lose anything by doing DIY castration honestly. As I said earlier I wish I knew all this at age 12-13. Would have done it without any doubt
yeah but my hair is only better than it was before hrt. of course if i could go back in time i would have given myself estradiol at 12 but i see no need to fully castrate unless i lose access to hrt.

I havent taken estradiol for 14 days. I kinda like how I feel without e2. I will not be taking estradiol for as long as I can and keep only the bica and dutasteride. I hate how estradiol make me feel. I think I will microdose e2 at best to prevent osteoporosis but I might just cycle the micro dose and take bica and dutasteride, i can do it now that I have a bilateral orchi tbh

Estradiol suckks so much(for me). After trying no e2 for weeks I prefer no hormones than estradiol. That hormone makes me crazy I hate it. With bilateral orchi you cant masculinize and you stop hair loss (not in my case because my genetics are so bad but u know a normal person would) so yeah for ppl that does not want estradiol but dont want to masculinize or have hair loss physical castration is the best.

Did you ever look into things like AKR1C and DHRS9? These enzymes can cause hair loss regardless of any androgen input (gonadal, adrenal etc)

Yeah I have read about all that. I take bunch of supplements one of them sulforaphane at high dosages that i started recently, but for now it only gets worse and worse no matter what. I have kinda given up cause my hair is rly rly bad, worse than pre HRT actually

It’s really weird your case. You actually had improvements and then it went bad somehow.

after seeing this clip i researched this person a bunch because i was curious about what their hormonal situation was and it turned out they were rocking the kinda of set up you prescribed with lowdose estrogen but they did end up in a wheelchair fwiw. i think they still have hair tho.

i like being messy and unhinged similarly to you guys but i don't get the spending so much time worrying about hair and then can't pull it together to stay disciplined on regimen

the years leading up to me starting hrt were easily the worst experience of my life. dealing with (semi)unrelated traumas and abruptly realizing my terrible hair issues around the same time led to an extremely uncomfortable few years while my iq was still too low to be disciplined. now years later my life has improved in every single regard but none of this would be possible without hrt.

without hrt i would still be in complete hair depression
without hrt my skin would still be red, cracked, bleeding, bumpy
without hrt i would still feel unrecognizable to myself in the mirror
without hrt i would still feel inprisoned by my f*****g d1ck
without hrt i would still feel uncomfortable by being a man

patience and discipline for my regimen is so because i have counted my blessings. i recommend it.

I believe Estrogen is directly good for hair.

Experiments done on Eunuchs showed that giving them Testosterone injections caused hairloss. But when you stop giving them T, their hair does not grow back. Their hair loss just stops progressing.
but unlike eunuchs transgenders can experience amazing hair regrowth.

Its also noted medically that women may experience thicker hair during pregnancy when estrogen rises. but lose that extra hair after birth when estrogen falls and prolactin/progesterone rises.

studies also show that estrogen increases the anagen phase.

its also common for older women to experience hairloss after menopause.

Maybe too high levels could also cause hairloss. Its possible i could continue with only cypro, but thats really not healthy, both T and E do something to maintain bones and without much levels of any sex hormones, might get bone problems in the future.

Also I dont care about having big puffy nipples. I only care if the actual entire breast gets big. so far It's not. if it does i can get it surgerically removed.
That’s a very well-thought observation. Estrogen’s link to hair growth does make sense since it helps prolong the anagen (growth) phase and improves blood flow to the follicles. I’ve also noticed that hormonal balance — not just high or low testosterone — plays a major role in maintaining healthy hair. It’s interesting how different people respond depending on their individual hormone profiles. Thanks for sharing this perspective; it’s a great point for discussion.
