Can’t believe on finasteride I’m still shedding like this and this is why I think it could be reflex again.. this time tho my sex drives not all crazy high.. im 4 months in now I think it should be showing promise by now.. maybe not perfect nothing is but man its been rite around 60 to 120 every day for these 4 months.. difference from the me at 21 vs me now is now I’m doing oral min topical min laser cap 300 lasers scalp airbag massager and oral finasteride 3 times a week..

All u can do is wait and see. I have read hundreds of posts over the years of people claiming to shed for many months and after a year did they start seeing thickening/regrowth. You cant do more than to be patient. I have been on my regimen for like 19 days only. I got 6 months to a year to see if it works.

Thanks man.. really wondering if I should toss dutasteride in the mix.. got a derm appointment Friday gonna get another test done.. sucks to say this but I’m smarter then them when it comes to hair I just need them for the script.. last time I was like yea thinking of starting ru59941… what’s that she said.. um an anti andro… ughhh never heard of it.. smh

Its an expensive and untrustworthy substance. I wouldnt bother with it. Gotta be used twice daily due to short half life and that will cost u more. It made my hair sticky and flaky. Didnt reduce shedding either I hated it.

I get what your saying I’ve tried it too just not for long I still have some in the freezer now actually in powder form but I’m saying it’s fucked up how little they know.. I was like I can’t wait till gt20029 drops she’s like huh… DUMB

Just get your gastrointestinal tract checked already. Start with abdominal ultrasound, gastroscopy, colonoscopy. Test your bile acids, amilase, lipase.
I'm sure the answer is hidden somewhere there. You could also try 1 tablet of UDCA to thin your bile a bit and see how it effect your health. Pancreatic enzymes and probiotics could also help with digestion.
I think that your case most definitely has to do with DHT inactivation. Your 3α-diol (which is a low-active form of DHT) is super low, which might mean that your DHT breaks down into it very poorly and instead accumulates in blood. Could be AKR1C2 defficiency caused by bile acids accumulation or smth like that. And bile acids are very dependent on the state of gastrointestinal tract in general.

I have done a CT scan of my entire body, an abdominal ultrasound, gastroscopy and colonoscopy. Everything was normal there just had H pylori which I eradicated. I am positive in SIBO now so def gotta get that under control. I still need to test bile acids. Lipase was at 23 U/L and Alpha Amylase was at 27 U/L according to the blood test done back when I got hospitalized in late february. I could try the supplements, I will have to take most of them anyways to treat SIBO. I have been like this for years and in the first year of HRT I had the dht at 5.7 ng/dl and 3a diol g in 0.10 ng/dl and now I got it in 0.08 ng/dl so not a big change tho my dht spiked badly and as I said everything is the same as back then(yes even the gastrointestinal issues and bloating I have that even before hrt) so I dont fully understand how things changed dramatically vs a year ago.

The only theory I had from a while ago is that my SHBG started to increase, my free T kept going lower and I am using bica, so my only logic theory was possible upregulation of 5ar1 due to near 0 Testosterone, but I tried to stop bica for a month and a half then did a blood test and DHT wasnt lower, so I resumed it. Maybe I didnt give enough time to let it leave my body entirely idk, but I did the blood test after a month and a half cause bica stays in the system for 30 fays when you stop it.

What about saw palmetto? Did it do something? Have you tried Estrone directly into your boobs? Ppl says estrone help to boost boob grow. Btw u have cone tits u need to address that with prog

Well, yes. In that we agree. If someone can’t tolerate Bica and he wants an oral anti androgen the next option is cpa/spironolactone.

But estrogen on hairline wont do anything. Like T and DHT are much more potent than estrogen, so they will bind to AR and keep doing its stuff cause u will have lot of androgen in your blood stream. The thing about systemic e2 is to nuke your androgen production so you wont have many androgens and estrogens can exert its effects. All that said some ppl keep losing hair on hrt due to backdoor dht so dutasteride is never a bad idea
