This really is the only ongoing thread on hairlosstalk.com that I can find. That blows my mind. Four years ago you had all of these feisty groups that tried everything but estradiol and of course none of it worked but they all just seem to be gone.

Hair loss treatments are so bad in the past and rn(not counting HRT here). The only good treatment that does not rely on estradiol and it could be good is dutasteride 2.5 mg, but if one is attempting to take 2.5 mg avodart, they should prepare their wallets cause it is expensive as hell and since no doctor will prescribe it you have to buy it from the internet and will cost literally +100$ without shipment, unless you are from South America which seems easier to get meds OTC. Either you are rich, live in a country where you can get everything OTC, start to research how to formulate dutasteride, which i am doing and it is not easy btw(cause avodart formulation sucks) or start estradiol.

There were all of this afatradiol guys and CB and RU guys and they would mix and match things and do group orders. It was actually charming but I guess they finally all woke up and smelt the tea. There were lots of anti-finasteride people. Preaching against finasteride is about as bleak as it gets on a hair site since that's the only thing that can create semi-stability of a hair situation. That matters much more than growing some here or there.

No. It will not. If aspirin cured baldness then nobody would be bald.
no one's saying it 'cures' baldness, if you're already on estradiol it can contribute to better hair since it lowers inflammation, i still have inflammation and sebum production on hrt which is why i'm giving it a go

Fair enough. I think we can quickly get to a point where maybe these marginal things eh. It's a fine line. Look, I do everything that I think works but I no longer do the laser light thing. That never did anything but drain batteries.

I think that 400 pg/ml is a key thing to check and if you hit that, then you might not need anything else.

I advise to not only check e2 and T but DHT. Many many ppl does not check DHT and that is a big mistake. You can have high DHT despite low T and that is a big issue. For ex I got 21 ng/dl T and 18 to 21 ng/do DHT and that's very bad. That is why I want to mega fose dutasteride basically

I went over to the Powers reddit site last night and compared to there, everyone on here is healthy. I have never seen transgender dysfunction like they have over there. People acting as though they will just die if they have to go one more day without spironolactone. They all constantly change their AA's and their estrogens and how they ingest them and at what time they ingest them and then they obsess about P4 vel non as we say in Latin and it's like this frantic rush of non-responding transgender people. Most people get some results from HRT and figure it's over and they move on. Not these people. They are desperate and they are desperate believers that Dr. Powers can get them to boob and face and butt and hair heaven but since they are non-responders, it's a terrible pool to select from. Then normal people on HRT see all of this dysfunction and worry why they only take estradiol. I am bewildered by the posts on that site. True believers with no pics to prove any of it. Show us your pics or stop telling us while estrone to estradiol ration matters. Hmpf! <stamps foot>. I have all of these new mannerism now. Where did Hmpf! come from, lol.

I'm with you but my insurance refuses. I was going to try spironolactone again but only 100 mg this time and I still felt crappy. I should know enough by now that there's a reason I packed it all away but I also enjoy tinkering. Janey's close to a hypocrite. I like the phony control that it makes me feel like I have over results. You start way low on estradiol. I was on Premarin 64 mg when I started for over a year and then we doubled it over time and it worked great as we kept moving upwards in small intervals. Then I switched to all natural as my maintenance E2 parenterally and ad hoc on the genitals. I think if one goes slow enough, that's the perfect program. People can try all of the AA's if they want but that doesn't mean that they have to be on them for life so factor that in for bicalutamide. They are hesitant because you might used it for life and get liver disease but most of us just want to push AA's when we still are developing and then ditch them later like I did.
