Tbh I don’t care about oily skin at all, reflex hyperandrogenicity wipe out the density of my hair in 2 weeks, that’s what concerning me the most
Yeah but I’ve seen 2 posts on here of people recovering on accutane then shedding on dutasteride and finasteride. Even saw a Reddit post of a woman experiencing PCOS and stopping hairloss on accutane.
Did bicalutamide every reduce oil production for you?

Sebum doesn't cause hair loss. It's not an effect either. There's a guy on here who says it does, I forget his name maybe it's Armando. But it's a bunk theory.
Yes, sebum can contain androgens but it is such a minute amount and it's unknown how much the scalp reabsorbs. So long as you are washing your hair you shouldn't experience any increased problems.
Sebum can be a result of androgenic signaling, so although it can be related to hair loss it's not actually directly related. It can be just a separate symptom of androgenic signaling. However, this is not always the case. The hormones can only pull the trigger if the genes are present. For example, someone can take a boat load of steroids and experience zero hair loss. The same individual may also have dry skin. At the same time, a man can be balding but have dry skin. Another can have a full head of hair and yet have skin full of sebum. It's dependent on the combination of hormones and genes. Just because you have hair loss doesn't mean you will necessarily have oily skin, and vice versa.
Armando is a fool, trying to be a revolutionary re-inventor of the wheel like Stockton Rush. The proof is not in the pudding. If sebum caused hair loss, then accutane and other drugs that stop sebum production would cure hair loss, but it's interesting that accutane can actually in fact cause hair loss. You lack a concept of correlation and causation.
So why on my second week of accutane my hair has looked the best it’s looked in months? And this is only on 20mg daily and ik for a fact it’s the only thing that helps because every hair that falls out has a sebum bulb on the end of the hair.

Less sebum= more volume. Its a cosmetic effect lol.

It’s just surface level appearance. Drier hair is more poofy and voluminous. Your hair was probably just being weighed down by sebum. Physics. Doesn’t actually affect the health of the hair. Accutane has a very commonly reported side effect of hair loss.
Hair bulbs do not contain sebum. The sebaceous gland is attached to hair follicles, though.
Again, if sebum was the cause there would be massive reports of accutane or even an AA like bicalutamide being touted as “the cure”. But it’s just not the case.
do you think that in order to keep hair most important is to have t and dht low instead of high e levels?
Ive talker to anxiousandy and he took cupro for 5 years without problems hope im honna be lucky like him

Both contribute. There’s definitely individual variation. Just like you have androgen receptors you have estrogen receptors, which the expression depends on genetics. That’s why some people respond very well to androgen deprivation treatments like CPA. Yet others do not always respond well to it. Same thing can be said for estrogens, however, estrogen in itself does combat androgens too. So in a sense of course estrogen is most likely to cause an improvement because it has a multi factorial effect. Whereas CPA is only addressing androgens. CPA can be detrimental for some people because reducing testosterone also reduces estrogen. It really does just depend on the person.
