The average white person associates Asians with slanted Japanese or Chinese, but many Asians look completely different. My ethnicity is small and not represented in European countries or the US. HPG axis works in a pulsating manner all the time. As soon as it gets interrupted, hypothalamus decreases secretion of GNRH, which reduce stimulating of pituitary gland so it produces less Luteinizing Hormone, which coincidentally is responsible for production of testosterone in leydig cells inside testis. Suppression of HPG axis realistically starts when estradiol levels cease to drop below ~300pg/ml.
Now directly to the question. Testosterone levels actually drop pretty quick (like 1.5-3 days) as can be seen here:

The main problem tho is getting to that stable level of 300-400pg/ml, which on 6mg EEn ideally can be achieved in 12 days based on this calculator: https://advsim.transfemscience.org/?r=1&e=4&d1=6&ra=3&i1=7&dl1=&s=0&h=0&xm=20. So 12 days until >300pg/ml + 2days of pure testosterone suppression. But realistically it can be anything between 2 weeks and "i'm gonna castrate myself" and blood tests is the only way of knowing at least approximately what awates you.

If you have suppressed your T for a long time, even if the level drops below 150-200, your T will not rise. Testosterone drops quickly, but does not rise, even if you do not inject and wait for weeks.

All that HGP axis thing is pretty fragile tho. Not an expert, but from what i've learned, after a long break it's pretty hard for the system to return to the same pulse frequency in which it was meant to work, cause all the organs involved need to revert to past state somehow and they, again, need stable levels for that. Might be that your hormone fluctuations are hindering it's recovery.

I used to take 0.3ml every 2 weeks. After the first injection my E was at 200pg/ml. I continued this regimen and after a few months I started having problems with muscle cramps in my calves. I took a break for about 1 month and my E was at 150pg/ml. The cumulative effect raised my E to a level that was too high
I have been taking 0.2ml since then but since I am lazy I often skip injections and do them every 2.5-3 weeks. I don't know what my hormone levels are but I know my T is always very low. I also took a break of 1.5 or 2 months and my T was still low and I felt like crap.
It takes a few months for T to start rising again or it may not happen at all without the use of ancillary drugs that bodybuilders use to restore natural T production after a steroid cycle.

I have tried all levels of estradiol from high to low and have not noticed any effect on the rate of hair growth. It is very slow anyway and takes years to recover.

Estradiol basically provides hair growth in a female pattern. Cis female cycle curve goes from ~50 to 250 back to 50pg/ml over the course of a month, so simulating that cycle might be the best for hair. That or some inbetween value could work too. Higher levels are acceptable too imo, tho elevated prolactin could cause hair loss (numbers must be huge afaik), elevated SHBG could be bad too cause it messes with insulin resistance.
