How long have you been on spironolactone before?

I was on it for about 5 months, i planned on giving it a year but i sorta freaked out a it once i grew boobs. Im alright with minor gyno, but mine is pretty bad right now. I am overweight though and i think that's probably making it look worse than it is, im on a diet right now and trying to lose some lbs.

Speaking about fat, same feeling. I started diet and work out 2 days ago with strong motivation to get lean.

And it's weird that your libido comes back. 5 months might be enough, you know.
How long is you break of spironolactone, then?

I have been off it close to a month now i think, gyno really snuck up on me, i just got out the shower, looked in the mirror and was just shocked at how bad i let it get lol I plan on starting a more aggressive regimen again once i lose some weight though since that will make my gyno look worse. Thinking about bica or something, not sure yet.

i 've stopped E2 from May this year and had only P4, CPA, finasteride and duta .. without E2 ,,, my hair became worst

now i am since August on E2 again (this time i have a lifetime prescription froim my doctor beause of assesement from my
psychologists, psychiatrist and psychotherapist)

now i have a strong shedding

i want to say... to some specialists in this tread .

every regrow, thats from E2...need in the future a high female range of E2..overwaise the hair will fall out again

in the year 2012 and 2013 i had a HRT with E2, CPA and finasteride.. i became a NW0 from NW2-3 .. i though, i can reduce the sose to stay masculine. .. the masculinity came back as a new level of masculinity .. i bacame macho and hairy all over my body .. with a lot of beard .. and hairloss again with tonsur and forehead baldness..

in spite of CPA and finasteride, P4 i became masculine and thin-light hair

despose of E2 in 2014 was my greatest mistake in my life

i hab lst of memory, hair, got bigger nose, ear, chin and hands .. my forehead grewn into a harder style ..

never.. never again i'll stop E2

my tstosterone levels in these years were over average and dihydrostestoern were around 1500 pg/ml (50 percent higher than the average man)

now, i hate masculinity and the silly intrusive behavior of many men...

Would you recommend taking micronized progesterone?

-> as an androgynous/androfeminine man -> cyclically .. it lowers the cognitive side effects of CPA/finasteride ..

That is very interesting and valuable information. So it appears it really is estrogen that grows and protects hair and not the absence of testosterone. This falls in line with the theory of why eunuchs don't regrow hair after being castrated. But I still think for some guys Cypro alone can be very effective. So how long did it take you to notice your hair getting worse? did it happen gradually or suddenly?

I think it's a combo. But agree that E is likely necessary for regrowth. This person transitioned without an added AA or 5ari and experienced a ton of regrowth.... https://www.reddit.com/r/transtimelines/comments/dkas39/im_doing_better_can_you_tell/

Granted she's on E injections which can inhibit T as a monotherapy much more effectively than pills. But still proof that E alone can grow a lot of hair.

Most definitely for some E is all you need. By the way those timeline transitions are f*****g crazy. I cant believe how much their faces have changed. Some of them are pretty as hell. A lot of them need some facial surgery though. There's only so much that hormones can do when you have a a super masculine bone structure. But holy sh*t that stuff is powerful. That's why I stay on a low dose and take breaks but to each their own.

Something I've been wondering for awhile, why is it that transgenders seem to be 90% male to female? Shouldn't it be even?

I always assumed the same thing. But not entirely sure if that's the case. According to census bureau data, "Of the 135,367 likely transgender people who changed their names with the Social Security Administration, 65 percent were transgender men and 35 percent were transgender women."

I think part of the reason MTF seem more prevalent is FTM may have a fairly easier time assimilating into society for a variety of reasons. For one, T is super potent and tend to change physical face shape and voice more effectively regardless of age to lean masculine. If a MTF transitions later in life it's more difficult to overcome both attributes, so they'll tend to be more visible. Also there's more a stigma in guys doing fem things than vice versa. So no one scoffs at a person wearing jeans and a tshirt regardless of gender whereas a masculine looking person in a dress will draw attention.

Very good points. If a woman goes outside wearing men's clothes no one will even look twice at them.
