Your message made me laugh
First of all, the chances of food poisoning on raw eggs is considerably higher than eating them cooked. I don't know what "high" means in this aspect, but I know that raw eggs are something to avoid. For example, mass produced mayonnaise is made with pasteurised eggs.
I have eaten raw eggs when I was younger and I know what you mean about the gagging reflex....
As for the science behind it... I presume, the cooking process destroys the molecular structure of some of its ingredients. So, eating them raw MAY have added benefits...
If I were you, I'd eat raw eggs only if I can be sure that they are reasonably fresh and from a reputable source.
You just have to be very careful with raw food stuff like eggs, milk (sales of unpasteurised milk is actually illegal in the EU), and meat.....
PS: What's that got to do with balding??? I don't know :dunno: .. I wouldn't think it makes a big difference.
