God I remember seeing that story for the first time. My first thoughts were that he wasn't doing anything to help the rep of bald guys in the world.

In my opinion it doesn't make you a better person as long as you cannot accept yourself being bald.You must be comfortable being yourself,thats whats going to make you confident and a better person in life.

Some guys that i've come across who are bald, it seems to make them more of a meek person. If i were bald i know i would be. I wouldn't want to put myself as out there, or be as out spoken as i am now in public scenarios, when some idiot can just as easily put me down for being bald and there goes whatever little confidence i had. Nice? It seems to make a lot of guys resentful more so.
