I think you meant to quote @iCloud ?Those dots could be a sign of telogen effluvium according to Donovan hair clinic. Are the dots pigmented yellow?

That is a good theory. I always figured that suppressing the immune system would be key, but I'm willing to try isosine pranobex. Just need to find a good source of it.So quick update. I’ve been researching inosine pranobex and apparently it’s an immunostimulant. Meaning it does the opposite of what I’d expect a treatment against the immune system to be. @kaneki experienced good things on it, but I’m trying to understand if it’s worth the risk.
Maybe suppressing the immune system is the problem and we should be boosting it after accutane induced hair loss? I know that accutane is theorized to suppress the immune system so acne won’t occur. Maybe doing the opposite of that will fix the problem.
I’m trying to find a source without needing a prescription. I’m going to buy around a month’s worth if possible (3g a day) and see if it does anything. That is a good theory. God, my scalp is so itchy today... Accutane really messed me up
Bro. Why didn't your dermatologist tell you if there is miniaturization..its their job to diagnose and they didn't give u that.So according to my derm, there’s a persistent redness all over my scalp. It’s gotten better since treatment but if you look closely there’s still red patches in the pics.
and for miniaturization, I honestly can’t tell. There’s some small hairs here and there but is that growth or miniaturization? Not sure so I came here to ask
My dermatologist only did a biopsy and visual inspection. They didn’t take those scope pics. But yeah, as far as I now they haven’t pointed out any miniaturization.Bro. Why didn't your dermatologist tell you if there is miniaturization..its their job to diagnose and they didn't give u that.
I want to point out that my derm who looked at my scalp with a trichoscope noticed miniturization. And my hairloss was triggered by accutaneMy dermatologist only did a biopsy and visual inspection. Immune hair loss can cause miniaturization so I wouldn’t worryI want to point out that my derm who looked at my scalp with a trichoscope noticed miniturization. And my hairloss was triggered by accutane
Where do you get scope pics done?My dermatologist only did a biopsy and visual inspection. They didn’t take those scope pics. But yeah, as far as I now they haven’t pointed out any miniaturization.
Trichologist or you can buy your ownWhere do you get scope pics done?
So do I see a dermatologist or trichologist of the trichologist has this equipment bit dermatologist are apparently better at diagnosing... Which one for hair loss.Trichologist or you can buy your own
Dermatologists usually have a trichoscope available to use, so it's better to see a dermSo do I see a dermatologist or trichologist of the trichologist has this equipment bit dermatologist are apparently better at diagnosing... Which one for hair loss.
Lol what. That’s fairly random. And I wasn’t born from a C sectionAnyone else born from C-section here?
Can I send you a close up pic of my hair with camera and you tell me if it looks like balding?I want to point out that my derm who looked at my scalp with a trichoscope noticed miniturization. And my hairloss was triggered by accutane
It’s okay dude, you’ll get a handle on it. It takes time for those meds to workgod f*****g damn my scalp gets so itchy and inflamed everytime I eat something heavy in gluten. Just had a bag of hot cheetos and already feel my scalp itching like crazy. I'm 100% sure autoimmunity plays a role in accutane induced hairloss. I'll continue to take my extreme anti-inflammatory meds and hope for the best

It varies on the day, I eat basically anythingwhat do you eat on a daily basis?

Not here in my city at least. The only one who had a trichoscope was a trichologist. All the derms I went to so far evaluated my scalp with their bare hands and naked eyes, meaning they can't conclude sh*tDermatologists usually have a trichoscope available to use, so it's better to see a derm
