I've learned that if I tuck my elbows during bench press, 12 sets works my front shoulders too much. So I'm going to flair them a bit more, and have 3 sets where they are almost completely flared.
I've learned my other muscles easily recover from 12 sets of bench press in 2 days, but 32 sets requires 4-5 days to recover and does not feel good.
I also learned it is a pain in the butt to eat 4300 calories per day, every day.
I have not been on epistane in quite a while now, but may be ready to start again here soon.
Since I want to gain 4 pounds per month on my upper body, and 1 pound per month on my lower body, I want to use a Pulsed cycle. That means I take 20-30mg EOD instead of ED. I'll take it on my upper body days, and do a lighter workout for my lower body on the off days. Pulsing is supposed to have 60% the gains and 40% the side effects, and allow one to do a longer cycle.
I'll do 3-4 weeks on epistane, then 3 weeks on 6-oxo, then repeat. I'll do low intensity cardio in the morning, and do the same workout regimen I had planned most recently, though only 3 sets of squats to start out.
I can eat 4200 calories EOD, then 3500 calories on the in between days. That will be easier to maintain.
My goal in 12-14 weeks is to have 10 pounds more upper body muscle, 3 pounds more lower body muscle, and lose 5-10 pounds of fat.
